I should mention that the skin products at Younique (masks, etc) are selling really poorly, so they're launching a customizable skincare line.
The idea is that you buy a [very expensive] base product like a lotion, then add in “boosts” that are specific to your skin type. You select three different boosters per product, but Tori, the Chief Sales Officer, said “Well, why can't they just select a few of the same boosters? Like, if they want a moisturizing boost, why can't they just select three of the same moisturizing boosters?”
Our product person said, “Well, that sends the wrong message. Like, that they'll get three times the moisture. That's not how this works. They won't get extra moisturized; it's just redundant.”
Tori just shrugged and said, “So?”
