RFC-234
by Darius Kazemi, August 22 2019
In 2019 I'm reading one RFC a day in chronological order starting from the very first one. More on this project here. There is a table of contents for all my RFC posts.
Map of MIT
RFC-234 is titled “Network Working Group Meeting Schedule”. It's authored by Al Vezza of MIT and dated October 5, 1971.
The technical content
This RFC is a detailed schedule for the Network Working Group meeting, which begins in 5 days' time at Project MAC in Cambridge.
All the information in here is contained in previous RFCs, in particular RFC-212 and RFC-222.
Analysis
A map of MIT was included along with this RFC but was never scanned. I found a copy at the Computer History Museum's archives.
