RFC-290

by Darius Kazemi, October 17 2019

In 2019 I'm reading one RFC a day in chronological order starting from the very first one. More on this project here. There is a table of contents for all my RFC posts.

More papers

RFC-290 is titled “Computer networks and data sharing: A bibliography”. It's authored by Alvin P. Mullery of IBM and dated January 11, 1972.

The technical content

This is another bibliography, similar to Mullery's RFC-243, and seems to be an update with a lot more papers. This RFC lists 115 papers compared to RFC-243 which had 65.

In particular, the data security section has 16 papers instead of the one paper he listed in RFC-243.
