That's because they have very little control over the manufacturing process, so they can't actually say for sure one way or another. Younique doesn't care that you're spreading carcinogens on your face — so do you honestly think they give a shit about animal cruelty? Also, they want to sell in mainland China, which *requires* animal testing. Also: hell no, the products aren't vegan.
