Air Astra is a brand new concept for Bangladeshi air carriers. It will be available for use in January 2022. Air Astra's ATR 72-606 fleet will take it to seven Indian cities.

Air Astra could only run domestic routes during the first year. Air Astra was then restricted from operating international services after January 2023.

Online check-in is possible. Once you have completed your online process, you can access your boarding pass.

Check In at the Airport

Alternative Airlines recommends passengers from all countries to check in at the airport no later than 2 hours before their flight.

You should bring all your travel documents to the airport. A designated check-in zone is located at departures board.

6. Air Astra Policies

a.Baggage Policy & Fees

Carry-On Baggage

Prior to the launch, the airline will allow carry on luggage.

Carry-on bags should be placed under the seats, as well as in the overhead lockers. This will ensure security. These items need to be checked in the airport.

Anything that is not allowed by security measures will be removed. Liquids over 100ml should be packed in bags.

Checked Baggage

Checked luggage allowances will be calculated closer to the due date

Maximum weight allowed for checked luggage is 32kg. Cargo that weighs less then 32kg (or 70 pounds) can still be counted.

b. Pet Policy

The cabin is only allowed for dogs and cats less than 6kg.

Air Austral does not allow other animals to be transported in baggage.

Flying animals cannot be let out of their enclosures.

C. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds can only be made if the cancellation policy is followed and applicable rules about airline fare. Astra Travel will not refund the convenience fees paid at booking time.

Contact the airline to request a refund.

A refund will be made to the account through whom the payment was made. Astra Travel cancels debits from debit cards and credit cards accounts after the transaction has been processed.

A ticket that has been partially used may be cancelled or returned for a refund.
