About

A modern ecological epic

A Body of Water is a loosely connected narrative flowing through four years of lived experience Each section is organized and named by the watershed in which it was written A wordy map spread across Turtle Island, from East coast, to the middle, west

With these words and pictures I worked to capture the relationship a person has with landscapes And through living those years I found what mattered to me, and to others

I found there is some toughness in people still; That we don't need to be dependent Yet we are deeply interdependent With people, places, animals, plants, soil, rocks, and trees

I have noticed that time is sacred And what you do with it ends up being life itself

This work is being added to about 3 times a week, until completion.
