Indeed, it can be easy to feel as if you've lost control over how you react in times of temptation, but ultimately, your response is up to you in the end.
Which for me, is always the main cause for my guilt. I sometimes want to deny it, but it's the truth.
God will never stop us from doing what we want (or should I say what we think we want) even though He knows the painful consciences that are sure to follow.
Even so, there is always a way out and around the temptation. He always provides a way of escape, and no matter how difficult it looks to reach, that escape is possible with Him.
Even when we fall to temptation, He is always there afterwards to offer a hand in our comeback. All we have to do is except it.
1 Corinthians 10:13
“No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.”
