so who's the hero?
who's the emperor? who is the sage?
who documents the story? who turns the page?
who walks towards glory? who walks in a haze?
swearing- they can see clearly
eyes shut wide when the sun shines
other eyes come alive at the moon rise
to feed on the prize to feed on the christ
who doesn't know he's divine
because he's ignorant he pays the price
