rubies glow in their feces: 
death?
certain.
birth? a purpose.
divine intervention.
putting that work in.
beyond comprehension.
on this Earth’s surface.
DNA helix. swirls like cursive.
no diamonds for the swine.
who can't see the value.
they feed on anything.
chew until it's mangled.
consume and masticate.
rubies glow in their feces.
jewels are hidden in their waste.
they sniff. then eat.
and repeat.
