Congress leader and former Zillah Parishad President- Mr Prakash Patil Markawar joined the Bhartiya Janata Party today. He joined the BJP along with former Sarpanch of Rajgad Mr Parvin Valude, Mr Rupesh Markawar, and Mr Mohan Shantanwar. This has come across as a big stroke against Congress as for the upcoming election situation is concerned.

Finance Minister- Mr Sudhir Mungantiwar welcomed Mr Prakash Patil Markavar to the BJP and congratulated him for his debut in the party. During this occasion, some of the prominent faces in attendance were Former Union Home Minister Mr Hansraj Ahir, MLA Mr Nanaji Shamkule, Zillah Parishad President Mr Deorao Bhongale, Social Welfare Chairperson Mr Brijbhushan Pazare, Mayor Anjali Ghotekar, Corporation Member Mr Subhash Kasangottuwar, Mr Madhusudan Rungatha.

During this event, Mr Prakash Patil Markawar said that he is deeply impressed by the incredible developmental initiatives and attempts undertaken by the BJP to project India as a superpower and its underlying journey. “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas” – meaning the all-inclusive approach of the Honourable Prime Minister and Chief Minister Mr Devendra Fadnavis, as well as the Finance Minister Mr Sudhir Mungantiwar’s development-centric and progressive programmes, projects in Chandrapur district restored his faith in BJP. Therefore, he joined the party for further social work, causes, and betterment of people. During this event, the Finance Minister Mr Sudhir Mungantiwar, Former Union Home Minister Mr Hansraj Ahir and other eminent personalities present, greeted and wished Mr Prakash Patil Markavar for his future journey with the party.
