Barcelona

Driving into Barcelona was stressful, lots of traffic and steep roads. Good to finally leave the car.

Walking through the city is much nicer, although it's still noisy and smelly. The dominant smell in many parts of the city reminds a bit of the sewage of a washing machine.

But I love the small random interactions with people and the small car workshops in the middle of the city which only have a tiny front, barely big enough to fit a car through, but are seemingly endless towards the back.

I also love the small stores which apparently have everything from light bulbs and tools over jars and sketchbooks and houseplants to dry food and kitchenware.
