Excerpt from: Mystery on Kalia Alpha “Huh?” That was a surprise. “What kind of room is this?”

Clara looked around at the parkland the TARDIS had landed in. “Looks peaceful,” she commented.

Excerpt from: Mysteries on the Frontier Stations: The next day, Europa awoke early. As she prepared herself for the day, she thought back on the previous day. The tour was good enough, but that mysterious person had thrown her for a loop. She dressed similarly to the previous day, but decided to wear her hair in simple ponytail rather than the complicated braid she had worn for the journey. ‘There!’ she said. With how long her hair was it was quite rare that she tried a simple style. It got tangled easily.

Aphrodite Jovian Station Armidale looked similar to the other stations. Aphrodite Danielson agreed with her ancestors that the designs should have been more varied.

Excerpt from: Season 8.5 Usually, the spatial distortions in the library weren’t quite so severe. At least the Doctor had made a start. She moved several book and the crack shrank. ‘I suppose that is a start,’ she thought.

Excerpt from: “Oh!” Merry responded.

“He seemed quite insistent,” Mimosa added.

“He may have seen us,” Estella said, letting go of his hand.

“I don’t think that is it,” Mimosa said.

“Something else,” Merry said. “He’s in his office, right?”

“Yes.”

Merry turned to Estella, grabbing both her hands. “I’ll see you later.”

“Certainly,” She said with a smile, while closing her eyes briefly. They touched their foreheads together briefly, then Merry was gone.

“I’m happy for you two,” Mimosa said.

“Thanks,” Estella said with a blush.

Merry rushed through the smial towards his father’s office. Normal smials didn’t have multiple levels, but Bucky Hall did, occupying the entirety of the Hill above the highest recorded Brandywine floods. He ran several flights of stairs to the level at the top of the hill.

Excerpt from: Daria and Change Daria didn’t know why they were testing the two of them together, but she was grateful that Quinn would be able to offer support if she needed it.

“Now, Quinn, what do you see here?”

“It’s a picture of two people talking.”

“That's right. Can you make up a little story about what it is they're discussing?”

“Oh. Okay, then. Let's see... they've been going out for a while, and he's upset because other people keep asking her out, and she saying she can't help it if she's attractive and popular, and besides, nobody ever said they were going steady, and if he does want to go steady he's got to do a lot better than movie, burger, back seat, movie, burger, back seat, because there are plenty of guys with bigger back seats waiting to take her someplace nice!”

Daria sighed quietly. Leave it to Quinn to think up something frivolous.

“Very good, Quinn! Now, Dora, let's see if you can make up a story as vivid as your sister's.”

‘Dora?’ Daria thought. At least it was a female name. Even so, misnaming raised a (small) red flag. “It’s Daria.”

“I'm sorry... Daria. What do you see in the picture, Dara?”

‘Don’t forget the ‘I’!’ she thought. But she decided to take a page out of Quinn’s book. Frivolity. “Let’s see. It is two sisters, who after taking a psychological exam, talked about how the exam seemed to be easy to take.”

Manson just took some notes.

Daria smirked. She did use some of her wit afterall.

“So, we are going to talk about how it was easy to take?” Quinn asked as they left the counsellor’s office.

“If you want to,” Daria said as she looked at her time table. “It was something like your ‘Movie, Burger, Backseat,’ example.

“Like I wouldn’t actually do that,” Quinn said.

“I know.”

“So, which class do you have first. I have Language Arts.”

“History,” Daria answered.

“I’ll see you after school, then, sis,” Quinn said as she walked off with a wave.

Anthony DeMartino saw the new student enter his class. He waited until she took her seat. “Class, we have a new student joining us today. Please welcome Daria Morgendorffer. Daria, raise your hand, please.”

Daria raised her hand.
