Weeks and weeks and weeks ago I wrote a blog about re-doing the streets (September 2020). I am SO surprised how long it has been when I wrote this article, but yet, here we are with a second chapter after getting the nicer road.

Getting new trees. The trees in the street were not doing great, so we were told and had to be taken out, to be replaced by new ones. And so the Toys 4 Boys came out again to get the job done.

So what needed to be done:

1. Indicating the Tree

2. Holding the Tree with a big a** machine

3. Sawing the Tree

4. Cutting the Tree

5. Moving the Tree

6. Shredding the Tree

Indicating the trees was not that tough as all the trees were shredded in the street. Just pointing one tree out:

Another guy holding the tree with a big a** machine:

Towing it over to the Shredder:

Moving it in the air wit a rotating devise in that big a** machine carrier thing

Putting it in the shredder and within 2 minutes a tree in all its gloriousness was nothing more than teeny tiny pieces of tree. In a way a big loss, not that theses tree were really old, or emotionally attached, but just in general, trees have a function and it seems like .... just shredding. We were told they were sick, so, I guess it is all for the better of it.
