The beauty of algorithms...

So, it seems that these very interesting and, — sometimes —, very useful proofs of human capacity are taking over the Internet!

Yes, they might really be very important at helping humanity performing some tasks. But, when we start thinking that they should replace our thinking ability, aren't we being a little stupid? When we give up of our intelligence and human ability to use our brains and interact and share our knowledge with others, putting our faith on machines and #algorithms, aren't we wasting the best qualities and capacities that we have? Are we becoming numb and dumb? Just me asking...

It all reminds me of some interesting characters that our history has shown us wanted to do the same: control our minds and behaviour in order to think and do only what they wanted us to: Hitler is a name that comes to my mind... But there were and still are others...

We've heard about driverless cars, robots that perform operations, etc... Yes, all great achievements... But, when it goes wrong, it really goes wrong!

Yes, we also make mistakes. But from our ability to work with others, to share, learn and compassionately do better we can all improve.

We don't need #AI to replace humans, to drive our cars and perform operations! We need it to complement humans, to help perform tasks that put our lives at risk, to help us solve the problems of pollution, hunger and war.

For all the rest we have humans and humans can do better and must better themselves!

The point is not to improve AI. It must be to improve HI!
