LaiShki — Maybe Someday — Commission milik @Gemmnya_

The bright blue sky illuminates the small village with stunning beauty. That day, summer was warmly welcoming, and the gentle breeze that blew carried the fresh aroma of the fields surrounding the village. Shady trees stand strong, providing cool shade under the hot sun. The birds chirped happily, complementing the natural harmony that felt so alive.

The cheerful chirping of birds awakened the black-maned woman in an inn from her restless sleep due to endless dreaming. She is not an easy sleeper, often waking up due to a messy sleeping position or her pillow falling to the floor. Today is no different. She woke up with her head hanging off the bed, the sheets in disarray, and most of her pillows scattered on the floor. She took a deep breath, realizing that her delirious sleeping habits needed to be corrected.

Reluctantly, the woman sat up and made her bed. Once finished, she stood by the window, observing the calming view outside. The village looked peaceful, with green fields stretching as far as the eye could see and the sound of the river flowing in the distance.

She decided to start her day with a walk around the village. However, before that, she had to tidy herself up and have breakfast. The black-haired woman thought about her favorite food, apple pie, and how delicious it would be to enjoy a slice of fresh apple cake in the morning.

Toshki Chim, with black hair dyed a muted purple, wore a white shirt and black oversized trousers. She wore a brown scarf and green waist-length robe, floral accessories adorning his shirt. Carrying her little harp, she went down to the inn's dining room. The smell of freshly baked apple cake filled the room, making her smile.

As Toshki enjoyed her breakfast, her thoughts drifted to the adventures that awaited. Every day is a new opportunity to discover something extraordinary, to create new lyrics, and to help her friends with her healing magic. She knew that today would be no different.

After breakfast, Toshki took her little harp, Ferndust, and leave the inn. The gentle summer breeze brushed her face, giving her new enthusiasm for the day. She stepped lightly on the grass wet with morning dew, enjoying the freshness of the village air.

She walked to the park near the inn, her favorite place to play the harp and write songs. Under a big shady tree, he sat down comfortably and removed Ferndust from her bag. Her fingers began to pluck the harp strings, creating a soft melody that blended with the natural sounds around her. The birds chirped in tune, adding to the calming harmony.

Not long after, her friends started arriving. With long golden hair, Marcille smiled warmly while carrying several spell books in her hands. Chilchuck, the lively little dwarf, raised his arms excitedly. And finally, Laios, who looked refreshed after resting, greeted him with a big smile.

“Hi, Toshki,” said Marcille. “Your voice is so beautiful this morning.”

Toshki stopped playing the harp for a moment and returned Marcille's smile. “Thank you, Marcille. I'm just trying to make this morning more pleasant.”

Chilchuck came over and sat beside her. “We heard the sound of a harp from afar. As always, your playing is soothing.”

Laios sat nearby, his eyes radiating sincerity. “We can start today with enthusiasm, thanks to your songs, Toshki.”

Toshki smiled broadly, feeling appreciated by her friends. “I'm glad you guys like it. So, what are our plans for today?”

Laios removed the dungeon map from his bag and placed it on the grass. “We need to explore a new part of the dungeon that we haven't been to yet. Maybe we can find more clues about my sister's whereabouts.”

Toshki nodded vigorously. “Okay, I'm ready. Let's do our best today.”

They discussed their plans, strategies, and necessary preparations. Toshiki feels lucky to have such caring and dedicated friends. She knows that their journey will not be easy, but with support and togetherness, they will be able to face it.

When the discussion was over, they prepared to start their journey. Toshiki checked the supplies in her bag, making sure all the potions and medical equipment were ready. Marcille cast some protection spells while Chilchuck checked for any traps they might encounter. Laios studied the map carefully, determining the best route to explore a new part of the dungeon.

With thorough preparations, they took their first steps towards the dungeon entrance. Toshiki carries her small harp, Ferndust, on her back, ready to use whenever needed. Along the way to the dungeon, they passed through green fields and lush forests, enjoying the fresh summer air before entering darkness.

Upon arriving at the dungeon entrance, they stopped for a moment to take a breath and check their equipment one last time. Toshiki plays some gentle notes from the harp, bringing encouragement and calm to the team. The sound of the harp combines with the rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds, creating a calming atmosphere before they enter a place full of danger.

Laios raised a hand, gesturing to move forward. They stepped into the darkness of the dungeon, where the atmosphere changed drastically. The cold stone walls and narrow passages gave them an aura of mystery and hidden threat.

Cautiously, they moved forward, lighting the way with torches. Every step was taken with alertness, listening to the sounds around and paying attention to every movement. Toshki held Ferndust tightly, ready to play a healing melody whenever needed.

They explore dark and winding passages, facing various challenges along the way. Hidden traps, terrifying monsters, and mind-boggling puzzles don't stop their enthusiasm. Toshki swiftly uses her healing magic when one of them is injured, providing the strength and support needed to continue the journey.

During their exploration, they discover clues that bring them closer to their goal. Every little sign, every trace they found, gave them hope that they would find Laios' sister someday. Toshki felt her spirit and determination grow stronger, especially when he saw Laios' unwavering dedication.

She remembered how they first met. At that time, Toshki was trying to write a song under a big tree near the inn. Suddenly, a man who seemed to be teleporting appeared nearby. She wanted to run away, but when she saw the man's condition, who seemed to have just lost the fight, Toshki felt she had to act. Hurrying, she used her healing magic to save the man. Just after the magic was complete, two other people came and introduced themselves as Marcille and Chilchuck. The man who Toshki had just healed introduced himself as Laios.

Toshki still clearly remembers their conversation that day. Laios tells the story of his missing sister and how they are determined to find her. Initially, Toshki's request to join was almost rejected, but she managed to convince them by offering her healing abilities instead.

Day by day, Toshki becomes more integrated with his team. At first, she felt awkward and lacked self-confidence, but the enthusiasm and sincerity of her friends helped Toshki feel accepted. Toshki also finds herself growing closer to Laios. They often walked side by side while exploring the dungeon halls, sharing stories and laughter. Laios, despite appearing strange with his obsession with monsters, is a brave and dedicated leader. Toshki appreciates his determination to search for his sister and feels inspired by his fighting spirit.

One night, after a full day of exploring, they gathered around a small campfire in the dungeon. Toshki, as usual, plays the harp and sings songs to entertain her friends. Marcille, Chilchuck, and Laios listened attentively, enjoying the sweet voice that filled the room.

After the song finished, Marcille smiled and said, “Toshki, your songs always make us feel better. Thank you.”

Toshki blushed slightly and smiled. “I'm glad I could help. You all have helped me a lot too.”

Laios, who was sitting next to Toshki, nodded in agreement. “You are an important part of this team, Toshki. We wouldn't have made it this far without you.”

Laios' words made Toshki's heart swell. She felt increasingly confident that she had found her place among these friends. She knew that they still had a long journey ahead of them, but with each other's support, nothing was impossible.

Back to the present, Toshki smiles to herself as she reminisces about that moment. Their journey has taken them through many obstacles, but each challenge faced has only strengthened the bond between them. She looked at Laios who was studying the map in concentration, and Marcille and Chilchuck who were busy discussing preparations for the trip.

Toshki feels lucky to be among such caring people. Every step they take, every decision they make, is always based on trust and cooperation. Even though they come from different backgrounds, their common goals have united them into a formidable team.

Laios stopped in their tracks and showed a faint trace on the stone floor. “Look at this,” he said, his voice full of hope. “We have to be careful. Maybe some monsters will attack us.”

Toshki, Marcille, and Chilchuck immediately gathered around Laios to get a closer look. The traces looked like large claw marks, indicating that the creature that left them was not small in size. Toshki felt the tension in the air rising, but also a new spirit emerging. Perhaps these traces could provide important clues about the direction they should take.

Marcille pulled her robe closer together and said calmly, “This trail seems to be new. We must be prepared for anything that might appear.”

Chilchuck scanned the halls around them, his sharp eyes watching every corner. “This could be traces of the dungeon guard or maybe another resident wandering around. We have to stay alert.”

Laios nodded, looking towards the darker hallway. “We will follow this trail, but everyone must be ready with weapons and magic. Toshki, make sure Ferndust is ready to use.”

Toshki nodded while holding her little harp tightly. “I'm ready, Laios.”

Carefully, they continued their journey, following the trail as it deepened leading them into the darkness of the dungeon. The sound of their footsteps echoed in the narrow passages, lit only by the torches they carried. The cold stone walls were getting closer, and the atmosphere was getting more tense.

As they got deeper, the sound of gurgling water became clearer. The passage led them to a large room with a small waterfall flowing from the stone walls. In the center of the room, an old statue stood, looking like a long-sleeping guard.

Laios approached the statue carefully, observing every detail. “This statue might hold clues,” he said in a tone full of anticipation.

Toshki looked at the statue, feeling something strange. “Laios, look at this. There is writing under the statue.”

Laios bent down to read the writing. “This is an ancient language. Marcille, can you read it?”

Marcille nodded and approached the statue, casting a small spell to make the writing clearer. “This writing speaks of a guard who protects the path to the holy place. Only those with a pure heart can continue the journey.”

Chilchuck frowned. “That means we have to prove ourselves worthy to continue.”

Laios smiled faintly. “We've been through a lot together. We can prove ourselves.”

With enthusiasm, standing in front of the statue, feeling a strong sense of determination and togetherness. Toshki played some smooth notes from Ferndust, bringing encouragement and calm to the team. They are ready to face any test that awaits them because they know that together, nothing is impossible.

Full of confidence, they continued their journey, leaving the room with the waterfall and the guardian statue behind. Every step brings them closer to their goals, and every challenge they face only strengthens the bond between them.

A few hours later, after a long and challenging journey, it rained that night. Because they couldn't get out of the dungeon, they stopped to rest in a relatively safe room inside the dungeon. Toshki, as usual, sat in the corner with Ferndust, strumming some soft notes to calm her mind. Marcille and Chilchuck were checking supplies, while Laios sat not far from Toshki, looking at the map he always carried with her.

Marcille raised her head and said, “We are starting to run out of some important ingredients. We have to be more careful in the future.”

Chilchuck nodded, “Yes, we have to use what we have as efficiently as possible. Toshki, how is your potion supply?”

Toshki stopped her harp playing for a moment and checked her bag. “There's still enough, but we need to find some more healing plants just in case.”

Laios folded the map and put it back. “Tomorrow we'll explore eastward. There's a chance we'll find some supplies there. Make sure everything is ready to go after resting tonight.”

After completing the inventory check, they all prepared to sleep. However, the sound of rain thundering over the dungeon disturbed their sleep a little. Toshki, who is used to the sound of rain, feels calmer and tries to help his friends sleep by playing a calming song on Ferndust.

After a while, the soft sound of Toshki's harp began to make the atmosphere more comfortable. Marcille and Chilchuck were starting to fall asleep, while Laios was still awake, sitting near Toshki.

“Your songs always make the atmosphere better, Toshki,” Laios said in a low voice.

Toshki smiled while watching Laios from the corner of her eye. She still clearly remembered how Laios saved her from the carnivorous plants on the second floor. The more she got to know Laios, the more she realized what a great leader and friend she was. However, there was one thing that made Toshki a little worried. Laios often tries to sing to cheer up the team, but his loud, shrill voice often hurts their ears.

Before the day ends, Toshki decides to teach Laios how to sing properly. “Laios,” he said softly, “you have extraordinary passion when you sing, but perhaps we can try some techniques to make your voice more pleasant to hear.”

Laios smiled and nodded. “I would be very happy if you could teach me, Toshki.”

Patiently, Toshki taught Laios breathing techniques, basic notes, and how to control his voice. They practiced every night, and slowly but surely, Laios' voice began to sound more harmonious. Toshki was happy to see Laios' progress, and every time Laios managed to sing a song well, she felt her heart flutter.

Toshki always faithfully follows Laios' directions and always provides support in various ways. She realized that she liked listening to Laios' stories about the past, monsters, and their adventures. They are often seen walking side by side while exploring the dungeon's halls, sharing stories and laughter. Toshki enjoyed every moment, but she also felt something deeper in her heart.

Laios, on the other hand, is unaware that his feelings for Toshki are love. He considers Toshki a very valuable friend and always feels calm when he is around her, but he does not yet understand those deeper feelings.

Toshki feels that expressing his love will only cause problems within the team. She worries that her feelings will disrupt the group dynamic and possibly make things awkward. Therefore, she chose to keep her feelings to himself, hiding her love behind her warm smile and sincere concern.

After they finished their singing practice, Laios sat next to Toshki and looked at her with eyes full of gratitude. “Thank you, Toshki. I feel more confident when singing now.”

Toshki smiled, trying to hide her feelings. “You're welcome, Laios. I'm glad I could help.”

That night, when the others were asleep, Toshki sat alone with Ferndust on his lap. She strums some soft notes, musing about their journey and her feelings for Laios. Even though she chose not to express her love for him, Toshki knew that as long as they were together, that was enough for her. She will continue to support and look after her team and keep her love in silence.

Toshki whispered to herself, she knew that the love she felt for Laios was something special. And even though Laios hasn't realized his feelings yet, Toshki still hopes that one day they can understand each other and accept those feelings wholeheartedly.
