I won’t pretend like you are no one to me when people asked me about you. I’ll tell them you are someone to me. More someone than all of them who thought they were someone to me.
I won’t pretend like I don’t need you when you are not around. I’ll say it truthfully that I miss you and I wish you were around. More around than those who were around me.
I won’t hold my smile and my tears from you. I’ll let you see them through, the thick and thin of everything. Of the things that I never shared to anyone at all.
So when it’s time for us to say goodbye, you’ll know it will never because of hatred, sadness, or even pain. You'll know why.
