What can man do to us? This isn't rhetorical. It's very much so a question you need to ask of yourselves.

What can't he do? Anything God doesn't allow. I put these two verses for a reason. There are many promises for us as Christians in the Bible. We must simply remember to ask for them.

Paul wrote in 2 Timothy, “You have not, because you ask not”. Our Father is good and capable of “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think”. We simply need to ask in earnest, and if we ask within His will, He will be sure to grant us our request.

Even if man takes everything away from you, he can't take your soul. I don't fear man, just as I don't fear death. I fear my God and so should my enemies.
