I have never been an avid reader when I was young. The real journey of enjoyable reading started in later age. At the beginning it was mostly self-help books. The more, the better. Until I stumbled upon Stoicism and philosophy in general. Skepticism was prevalent in the beginning as I assumed the books would be essentially about nothing applicable to real life.

For a long time I have been struggling to keep focus on my work. I get easily distracted by things around me. Many times I deliberately distract myself with binge watching TV shows, YouTube videos or just researching whatever online. It is easier to do those things than work on my projects. There is no fear of failure, feeling inadequate in my knowledge and skill. Maybe you ask yourself if I somehow managed to overcome this and found something to help me focus. Well, I think I did.

It is not long ago when I was deeply consumed by protecting my privacy online. At times it went to the extremes of mild paranoia. It took some self reflection and reality check to realise there is no need, in my case, to go into so much trouble protecting myself online. I am not a public figure. I am not famous or rich nor I intend to be. I am regular person with desire to live good life. So in my case extreme privacy is overwhelming and unnecessary.
