the look.

“seriously, jaem, what's so hard to believe about mark liking you?”

jaemin stares at renjun, not liking the way his tone sounds. like jaemin has done something very stupid. “why are you so determined to make me believe in that?”

renjun sighs, deep and long. jaemin thinks he's very dramatic.

“because it frustrates me seeing you two clearly liking each other and yet still not doing anything about it. i feel like gouging my eyes out every time i see the way he looks at you.”

see? dramatic.

“have you seen the way he looks at you?” renjun adds before jaemin could say anything. he shakes his head in response to the question. “it's like what people say, you know, honey dripping out of his eyes, or something.”

jaemin chuckles lightly. “jun, he looks at everyone like that. he's just... an affectionate person.”

“yeah, sure. he looks at people around him like they put the stars in the sky. but he looks at you like he'd go to hell and back to put the stars in the sky for you himself.”

jaemin hates the way he loses his breath for a second over renjun's words. how dare renjun say that to him, as if it's the surest thing he knows?

mark doesn't look at him like that. he doesn't like jaemin like that. jaemin knows because he looks at mark all the time, and mark never looks at his direction.
