Walking in the nature to the ruins of the medieval church of Saint Christopher in Itri
Today I took a walk on a hill near my town, Itri. It was a significant ascent; however, it was worth it for the view.
As you can see from the image, it is possible to see the valley where the town, surrounded by mountains and hills, is located. The old town, on a small hill, with its medieval castle, is particularly beautiful.
The derelict medieval church of Saint Christopher is situated on the summit of the hill. Medieval frescoes can be seen in its interiors.
It was a beautiful walk, very helpful to leave behind the hurdles of the modern life, immersing myself in the nature.
