Tourists are quite a common sight, these days.
But they seem... Unhappy. Desperate. As if they are looking for something, but that something has been eluding them. Can they ever find it in Singapore, I wonder.
I've been people-watching at a few expensive hotels.
Saw people sitting down in the lobby, eating and drinking. Guessed that they were the temporary residents of the hotel rooms.
Their food: cup noodles, and pizza in a box
Their drinks: canned beer
My guess about their nationalities: Hong Kong, Taiwan and India. And some Western countries that I can't identify (yet).
