Open Letter To Elon Musk There are moments in life where we are blind-sighted. We do all that we can to help, make a difference, and to be kind to others, yet sometimes it seems that it is not enough.  People demand more. They want proof. They make you beg for their approval - their belief in you. Then they laugh at you, mock you and spit on you. Foul words that make you want to give up.  Never give up. You are your own best friend or worst enemy and the line that separates those gray areas in between are spaces where you can learn from your mistakes, successes and life experiences.  This is a love letter to you, Elon. Not a romantic love but the love that we all crave. Acceptance, encouragement, friendship, trust. I hope these words lift you up and see you soar.  You have a purpose in life and you matter. Always remember that. I want you to, right now, look at what you have done for this world. You were a part of Paypal, you started SpaceX, you saved Tesla. Your mind and brilliance is something this world needs.  We need your light.  We need you to shine brightly and to keep believing in the good because the good believes in you.  You may think Twitter has failed you, but it hasn't. At least, not those of us who follow you, who look up to you and respect you. Twitter is a system that, like all others, is man-made and unfortunately does have flaws.  However, we can rise above these flaws and keep innovating. You are the underdog of today's headlines. As the mock, belittle and scold you over every little thing, we watch you blast this world with your light.  You continue to innovate, to succeed, to create despite your adversaries who wish you to fail. They mock you, call you a fraud, make up lies about you and target people who support you. This only makes us support you even harder.  Because, through all of this, we see your light. We believe in you, Elon Musk. Never doubt that.  I remember my first job. It was rough on me and I was mocked for various reasons. I had this one supervisor who would always say to me, "Be encouraged," It got me through some rough work shifts. Mr. Thomas' words have echoed inside my head years later and now I am repeating them to you.  Be encouraged, Elon.
