  • I think my best course of action today is to focus on my chess work and on my yard work, and to take everything else with a grain of salt.
  • The above decision made earlier today has served me well. Now that my Friday is ending and there's no more yard work to be done this evening and the brain is too tired to handle chess responsibly, I'll do my prayers and (hopefully) ease my way through the rest of this evening toward a comfortable sleep.

  • Well, I saw President Biden read his half-hour speech from the White House tonight, then shuffle slowly away from the podium without taking any questions from the media.. For such a feeble old man suffering from dementia, he certainly could have done worse. But for a POTUS, he's one sad spectacle.
  • Working with Google Keep this afternoon was interesting, glad I have it as a backup tool. But Standard Notes is much better for my needs, and it's free too.
