The Eagle has landed

Traversing through a rain forest and water streams leads to a beautiful natural formation of an Eagle's head. This majestic structure casts its shadow on waterfall, caves and open ocean.

Located around 1 to 1.5 hours from the Sydney depending on the traffic condition, Royal National Park offers numerous

picturesque locations for all nature lovers and trigger friendly photographers. For more details: http://bundeenainfo.com/royal-national-park/

This particular track is called the Curra Moor track loop which is around 10 KM Grade 4 and expected time of the walk is 4-5 Hours. Do not forget to bring plenty of water and sun screen to protect yourself from the environment and always carry a first aid kit with a compression bandage.

The track starts with the dense forest with thick vegetation of flowers and foliage. You may encounter several species of animals(including snakes).

The track slowly cascades to a well defined path way with lesser vegetation and more open space. The effect of bush fire can be easily seen in the pictures.

You will also encounter several streams of cold water to refresh yourself after the long walk.

And then feast your eyes on this beautiful landscape.

A clear blue sky and crystal clear ocean complete with its sea life,

It is truly a magical place to explore the nature. In winter season you might be lucky to spot some whales migrating to warmer water.
