I could be crazy, but...

It seems the world feels different over the past...10 (or more) years. Like, I go outside, even in “perfect” weather, and look around, see what's happening with the wildlife (or lack thereof) in my immediate surroundings (even when I am in the middle of the woods on a hike), and there's just less. Like being outside is just an unwalled version of being inside, and that the outdoors is less of an exhilarating, unpredictable, “there for us to enjoy” type of environment, and just...there.

Maybe it's me? Maybe all the wildlife, and insect diversity, and air quality is more or less the same, and I just perceive things different at this stage of my life? But, it's probably more than that (which it obviously is).
