#6: Don't look down

The autumn, winter, spring and the beginning of summer I spent fixing some things that would make me freer later and was also looking for a way to move somewhere else. By the beginning of summer, the things were kinda fixed, and a couple of ways found and one of them even taken.

It was one of the hardest winters in my life so far. Yerevan is a toxic gas chamber during winter time, because people burn literally anything that burns to their homes warmer. This, added to the fact that they just don’t mind burning all sorts of trash in their gardens, led to dense smog over Yerevan staying in the air for a couple of the coldest months. It was insane. You could only see the clear skies if you went out of town and some hundreds of meters higher.

They say ‘Don’t look down’ sometimes, when you’re trying to get somewhere and this ‘down’_ might look scary. Looking at most of my digital photos I made during this time, I can say I had been trying not to look down as hard as I could. Because, well, the skies we all share everywhere. It’s beautiful wherever you are whenever you can see it. But what’s underneath the skies can easily look not too inspiring sometimes, if not to say depressing.
