While working in Flushing, I noticed a group of men waiting at Prince Street and Roosevelt Avenue.

What surprised me was that they were NOT Latin American laborers, something I’m used to seeing.

I then question:

Why can’t they find work?

Where is their paperwork?

And why are Latin Americans only highlighted for similar activities (many wait at Home Depots and Loews seeking work)?
