At full price, the Evaluation account subscriptions with Tradovate are $20 more than the corresponding Rithmic accounts. Tradovate reset and monthly maintenece fees are also $20 greater.
(When there is a discount, obviously this difference shrinks. At a 50% discount, Tradovate evaluations and resets would be $10 more. At 80% off, it would be $4 more, and during a 90% sale, Tradovate accounts are $2 more than Rithmic.)
However, Tradovate accounts have lower trade fees on most instruments. (This is due to Tradovate charging zero commission, leaving only the exchange & NFA and clearing fees. In contrast, Rithmic fees include the exchange & NFA and clearing fees, plus a commission.)
You can very quickly make up for the greater subscription fee through the lower trade fees on Tradovate.
