I really love the ZA/UM's game: Disco Elysium. As many critics, and players have already pointed out, it is one of the best role-playing-game ever made. A true gem that you had to wait since 1999 after playing the Planescape: Torment.
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition has a coherent and well-thought atmosphere throughout the game which is cohesive and compelling. The factor that mostly dragged me to The Witcher: Enhanced Edition is its hidden depth and beautiful soundtracks, which I liked in Morrowind too.
I got familiar with this visual novel very late: the summer of 2017! And it was only due to Justin Carmical's excellent review that I got curious.
It all started with listing to Melvyn Bragg's fantastic podcasts “The Value of Culture” on BBC's Channel 4.
I always like to play Democracy 3. It is a government simulation game based on the current situation of six countries: Canada, US, Britain, Germany, France, and Australia. It is full of funny facts (e.g., maple syrup consumption rate In Canada) and interesting quotes (e.g., Karl Marx’s or Homer Simpsons).
I have played Banner Saga games for many hours: a game trilogy by Stoic developer. The Stoic started their trilogy with an excessively successful Kickstarter campaign and is based on a Nordic apocalypse world. You go through constant turn-taking fights, but the reason any of your companions die (or yourself) is your decisions before or after the matches.
