The Moments Between

Between the stacks I heard your quiet sigh.
We all have stories, these are mine. I tell them with a heart full of love and through eyes of kindness.

Between the stacks I heard your quiet sigh.

Between the stacks I heard your quiet sigh.

The sky tonight is blended perfection

Walls made of wood And the roof was the sky Gates lead to mystery But we never asked why.

I have no way with you I have no way without you

You built castles with her and now you she is gone.
Sometimes, the cost of doing the right thing feels like more than one can afford—
Happiness, where have you gone? To what land have you taken wing?

The snow fell heavy and fast all night long, coating the world in a blanket of wonderful white that silences everything small to great. This is so rare here in this forlorn land. A sense in what has changed visually and aurally is maybe why we both rise early this morning.
