CHAPTER 7: MEET THE NEIGHBOUR While Mingyu’s on his way to the school gate, someone blocked his way to stop him from his tracks which he did. To his surprise it was no other than.... Mr. Lee. “ Mr. Lee?” Gyu asked a bit shocked “ Yes Mr. Kim, it’s me Mr. Lee” Mr. Lee said smiling “ You seem shocked and in a hurry do you perhaps saw some ghost or whatever?”Mr. Lee asked slightly laughing. “ No sir, it’s just... I easily get surprise that’s all” Gyu replied a bit shy. “ Okay...But you seems to be in a hurry? Do you have any plan or something? I was wondering if you have time right now?” “ Ah that, I’m just excited to go home and rest sir, that’s all” “ Okay then, I just want to discuss something with you in my office if it’s alright with you?” “ Yeah sure, no problem sir” Gyu and Mr. Lee then went to the said office to talk about some stuffs. Once they’ve entered the office, Mr. Lee sat on his chair and gestured Gyu to sit on the vacant seat but not long after Mr. Lee’s phone rang signalling that someone his calling him. “Mr. Kim if you’ll excuse me I just have to take this call” “ Sure no problem sir” Gyu said Mr. Lee then went outside his room to take the call. After a few minutes, Mr. Lee came inside his office again with some students following behind him.And Mingyu recognise some of them as member of some clubs they have. “ Okay now that you are all here, let’s now start our discussion for the upcoming program of our school” Mr. Lee inform them. The meeting then went on Mingyu forgetting that their family have a planned dinner along with the new neighbour her mom told him earlier. ( AT THE KIM’S HOUSE ) Mrs. Kim is busy preparing for their dinner, she’s busy cooking and setting up their food on the dinning table when Mr.Kim and Minseo arrived. “ Hey Mom” Minseo greated her mom and kissed her cheeks. While Mr. Kim also did the same and kissed her wife on her lips. “ Eww get a room” Minseo complained that earned a laugh from her both parents. “ Is Mingyu here already? Mr. Kim asked her wife, cause as far as he know Mingyu is always the one who always got home early. “ He’s not yet here Darling, let’s just wait for him a bit” Mrs. Kim answered. Minseo and Mr. Kim then changed their clothes and helped Mrs. Kim in preparing their dinner. They were busy fixing and preparing when their doorbell rang indicating that someone is outside. “ Minseo, Sweetie could you open the door? Maybe that’s your brother already” Mrs. Kim ordered Minseo. Minseo then hurriedly went to their front door to open it for his brother, once Minseo opened the door she immediately call her Mom. “ Mom, someone’s looking for you here” Minseo shouted calling her mom Mrs. Kim then went to look who’s looking for her, once she reach the door and saw who it was she then smiled and greeted them politely. Turns out it was the new neighbor who’s looking for her, she then opened their door for them to enter and welcomed them. Mrs. Kim then introduced the vistors to his husband and daughter. They exchange greetings and proceed to their dinning table to eat their dinner, as much as The Kim’s want to wait for Gyu then just can’t let the visitors to wait for that long and so they decided to start the dinner without Gyu. Mingyu on the other hand was vey busy listening in to the dicscussion that he forgot the planned dinner. He accidently glance his wrist watch and saw that it’s getting already and that’s also the time that it sinks to him about the dinner for tonight. He can’t help but curse which is done unnoticed, Gyu was feeling giddy and can’t stay still. After few more directions and instructions the meeting then was already done. After few more instructions and reminders about the program were given, the meeting then was finished. Once Mr. Lee told them that they are free to go, Mingyu dashed out of the room fast, he walked and ran as fast as he could to be able to arrive home in instance. As soon as he reach their house, he pressed their doorbell and with a few pressed the door was open by his sister Minseo. "God... Why are you panting and sweating so hard Oppa?" " Wait... Let me breath first.." Mingyu said obviously catching his breath from all of those fast walking and running he did. Minseo can't help but to chuckle at how his brother's state right now. " Are the visitors there already?" Gyu asked " Yeah, we actually had dinner already, Mom is gonna serve dessert now" "Ahh.. okay, just tell mom I'll take a quick shower first before joining you guys there, I feel kinda sticky with all of this sweat" " Yeah.. okay, make sure to do it quick, don't make the visitors wait for you for so long" " Yeah..yeah I get it, I'll go to my room now" Mingyu then went up to his room and Minseo went back to the dining table. "What took you so long?" Mrs. Kim asked Minseo " I was talking to Oppa, he told me to tell you he'll take a quick bath then join us here after" "Okay then, I'll serve the desserts now" Mrs. Kim then serves the desserts so that their visitors could start enjoying it already. Back to Mingyu, he's currently taking a shower and after a few minutes of doing so he's finally done. He went out of the bathroom and went to his closet to look for some comfy and fresh new clothes. After rampaging through his closet, he decided to wear a white V neck t-shirt paired with denim jeans. After doing his routine, he went out to his room to go downstairs when he noticed that the light and the door of the room infront of his room was open. Slightly panicking to why it was open, he still master up his courage and went inside only to found out someone was inside looking at the stuffs inside the room. "Who are you...What are you doing here?" Mingyu asked to whoever this man inside this room is. When the man turned around, Mingyu can't move and eyes widen upon seeing the face of this man that trespassed inside this room. "You're.... You're the new neighbor?" " Ahmmm.... Hi?"
