Data feed options
The most popular options for live data are:
a. Use 2 week free trial data by registering a new account with NinjaTrader.com (Requires NinjaTrader version 8.1.x.x or later)
b. Open a brokerage account with NT and subscribe to their CME Market Data Level I package for $12/month. (This may require a $400 minimum deposit and at least 1 trade per month to avoid inactivity fee.)
c. Subscribe to an Apex Trader Funding account (The lowest cost evaluation account is currently 100k static Rithmic account. Always be sure to ask about current coupon discounts.)
d. Subscribe to data through IQFeed or Kinetick (NinjaTrader's white label of IQFeed). Each has a monthly base fee, and you select which feeds to include on top of it, for varying costs. If you qualify as a “Non-Professional”, after the base fee, you can get data for as low as $1 per month per exchange with IQFeed and reduced cost with Kinetick ($2.10 per exchange, or $5.25 for all four).
e. If you would like to use another provider or already have access to a data feed from a supported souce, you can use that.
