5 Centimeters Per Second (another film by Makoto Shinkai) is not your typical love story......but for me a love story nonetheless. Because first, should a love story only be defined by a happy ending? NO, I definitely don't think so. Second, should it only be considered a love story when they both (the main characters) end up together? Again, definitely don't think so.
