Lazy Sunday mornings

We're having a luxuriously lazy Sunday morning, first one in awhile. Babe asleep, cwtching with her Mom after a feed, cool breeze coming through the window from a quiet world yet to fully stir, steam rising from our coffee cups, checking the news and randomly browsing the internet.

We used to have a lot of these, vast empty tracts of time for us to fill as we saw fit, sometimes with activity but oftentimes not. Opportunities to relax, unwind and recharge the mental tanks.

It feels great to have one again. The littlest one is starting to sleep better in her crib at night and we are regaining some adult time as a result.

Pause and breathe. The calm before another exciting day ahead. It's amazing to watch my daughter discovering more about the world, and today we'll try another first – I'm finally feeling brave enough to strap on the baby carrier for its maiden outing. Hope she likes it!
