Initial connection correction
RFC-145 is titled “Initial Connection Protocol Control Commands” and is by Jon Postel of UCLA. It's dated May 4th, 1971.
The technical content
This updates Postel's RFC-127 Initial Connection Protocol algorithm to correct for an error pointed out by Eric Harslem of RAND. It does not address the issue brought up in RFC-143.
