I like the idea of social.coop, hence I signed up there. It's hosted “green” “green” via Hetzner which seem to be a pretty popular hoster of Mastodon instances. Nevertheless, I would love to hear some feedback from people which got already some experience with some of e.g. following providers, which are not only powered by hydro power but also invest in regional renewable energies and are committed to sustainability at “certain degree”: – Avalon Networks – BioHost – GreenSta – Lands – SpaceNet – Teuto.net

Edit: Or “ungleich.ch” they state that they only use second-hand hardware and old buildings for storing their servers. Cool!
