Deyner´s Notes!

Investing, Cryptocurrencies, Prediction Markets, Old Photography, Weird History, Funny Stories...and MORE!

I am a crypto convinced guy but crypto bussiness apart, i am an avid seeker of interesting stories to share and to give my opinion about.

That's why today i want to share with you an amazing discovering i made respecting historical photograph world: the very first photographs ever taken of Jerusalem.

I am an appasionated about historical photographs(you can check https://coil.com/p/deyner1984/Historical-colored-photos-an-amazing-journey-/t7y-PjCUO) so, from time to time i search all over the Internet about the oldest, amazing and most incredible photographs ever taken and today i discover this collection of photographs that were taken in Jerusalem in 1844(you are hearing well: 1844!!!) by a French photographer Joseph-Philibert Girault de Prangey....but who was Girault de Prangey?

The photographer...

According smithsonianmag.com short biography:

Girault de Prangey studied painting in Paris at the École des Beaux-Arts and in 1841 he learned daguerreotypy, possibly from Louis Daguerre himself or from Hippolyte Bayard. Girault de Prangey was keenly interested in the architecture of the Middle East, and he toured Italy and the countries of the eastern Mediterranean between 1841 and 1844, producing over 900 daguerreotypes of architectural views, landscapes, and portraits.

He was an avid traveler who takes hundreds of photos preserving those amazing moments for future generations, allowing us to know how was the life back those days, how looks the buildings by that time and how persons looks himself in a time not so far from our time but far away from the perspective of a human life cycle.

Daguerreotypes?

So you may think that this are not real photos: are daguerreotypes instead but the fact is the daguerreotype was the first commercially successful photographic process (1839-1860) in the history of photography. Named after the inventor, Louis Jacques Mandé Daguerre, each daguerreotype is a unique image on a silvered copper plate...so they are photos indeed!!!

In contrast to photographic paper, a daguerreotype is not flexible and is rather heavy. The daguerreotype is accurate, detailed and sharp. It has a mirror-like surface and is very fragile. Since the metal plate is extremely vulnerable, most daguerreotypes are presented in a special housing: like a picture in its frame.

The photos...

This photos were taken in Jerusalem of 1844. So you have an idea of what year we are talking about...that year:

1- The first electrical telegram is sent by Samuel Morse from the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. to the B&O Railroad “outer depot” in Baltimore, saying “What hath God wrought”.

2- Charles Goodyear receives a patent for vulcanization, a process to strengthen rubber.

3- Friedrich Engels and Karl Marx meet for the very first time in Paris, France.

4- Death of Joseph Bonaparte, brother of Napoleon Bonaparte.

...interesting isn't it!!

Now let's go to bussiness:

...this photograph is showing a building with a domme and a tower. Maybe this particular building is tha famous “Domme of the Rock” and the tower near to is “David's Tower”...it is hard to say because the photographer did not leave any clues about this particular daguerreotype, so having in count in Jerusalem there are several buildings with dommes and a few towers but most famous are the “Domme of the Rock” and “David's Tower” we assume this view corresponds to those famous buildings.

...this three photos are showing a perspective of the “Old City” remarking its impressive defensive walls.

...the last two photos shown the Kidron Valley from a very original perspective and the last one is, at least for me, the most impressive of all photos because it shows a whole view of the old Jerusalem as it looks in 1844 “in colour”, the only one colored daguerrotype of this collection.

So if you are an enthusiast of historical photograph and amazing discoveries do not forget to follow me at https://coil.com/u/deyner1984 because i will be releasing soon new and impressive contents about it!!!

...and if you valuate our work and want to support good and amazing content exclusively for you, do not forget to get a Coil subscription....it is a small fee to get great content for you and learn a lot!!!

Sometimes earn some kind of crypto can be really hard. That's why cryptocurrency world begginers turn to faucets sites and airdrops campaigns in order to get a little crypto wich allows them a fresh start into crypto world...that's ok, but there is a catch(there is ALWAYS a catch isn't it?)

Faucets...Airdrops...?

Faucets sites are places where users can clainsmall amounts of crypto coins every few minutes or hours, tipically by clicking a button and solving a captcha. This is, by far, the most used tool for crypto begginers when entered cryptocurrency world.

This kind of sites are mostly full of advertisments, sometimes have bad layout nad worst color combination. A high percentage are scam sites claiming of paying every few minutes a small amount of crypto. some others are legit, but is hard to distinguish one from another.

Faucets are the crypto analog to an underpay job in real life.

Airdrops campaigns are actions a new or a stablished crypto company takes in order to promote itself by, normaly, distributing or “airdroping” crypto tokens to people who joins their social media campaigns in sites like Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and Telegram channles or people holding some kind of cryptocurrency.

In a more detailed way, there are two types of Airdrops:

Traditional Airdrops — free tokens are distributed to existing holders of a particular blockchain currency, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum. They will reward users for simply holding a specific coin without expectation of any reciprocal consideration.

Bounty Airdrops — which will reward users with free tokens if they complete simple social media tasks (Joining the Telegram group, reposting on Twitter, etc.)

These companies “giveaway” a fixed amount of tokens or coins by every single action users take in social media sites: inviting other people to join campaigns, giving likes to Facebook posts and rettweet some tweets...that's why they are called “airdrops”: small amounts of crypto as if they were “drops”.

Airdrops are the crypto analog to free samples in the shopping mall.

The solution becomes a problem.

If you, as a newbie, try to earn some crypto when recently entered into crypto world, there is no doubt you will try to do this using the most simple way: you will search in Google, Yahoo or whatever web search tool do you use, something like this: earn free crypto...

...and without any doubt you will be seen 90% of web search results on sites offering free crypto every few minutes or sites giving you an airdrop or listing “the best” airdrops of the month.

You may think this is he best solution for you to earn some token or coin but, have you asked yourself what are the implications of doing this?....let's try to help you understand.

Time is money...

This is an old saying..... The fact is you need to decide what are you doing with your time and if it worth to spent it in doing repetitive tasks for a prize or coming back every 10 minutes to the same website to click a button.

The truth is working in a faucet will not give to you the amount of crypto you are expecting for, because beginners always think big, that's a fact.

Let's take an example: a faucet will pay you 0.00000026 BTC every time you request it and you are allowed to request every 30 minutes. Working 24 hours you have 48 attempts to request your free Bitcoin...assuming you work continuosly and with no fail by the end of the day you will have 48x0.00000026 BTC = 0.00001248 BTC that is, at current BTC price 0.12 USD aprox....0.12 USD by clicking the same button every 30 minutes in 24 hours...it puts you to think about it isn't it?

In faucets time intervals and amount requested varies but in general, time goes from a few minutes to even an hour and amounts to request are tiny, fractions of cents in FIAT values in some cases.

As an advice: if you find a faucet site offering a high amount of crypto by request, lets say 0.0001 BTC or 0.1 ETH...i suggest you to rethink entering here because it will be a SCAM for sure!!

In the other hand we have airdrops. In general they are legit and is more secure to invest time in here than in faucets: you earn more coins and it is not a repetitive task...you do the things they request once and you get your crypto.

The problem with airdrops is they pay you in coins or tokens wich have low value or expecting to get some value in time, so, if you do some tasks lets say, join to a Telegram channel, add 3 friends, follow a Twitter account and retweet and follow in Facebook and you are given 50 tokens of any type they say those 50 tokens are valued in 10 USD but it is more probably the value goes down with time, so you will not have 10 USD but 5 or 4 or 1 USD instead as time passes.

These tokens or coins you are granted by doing the airdrops are mostly unknown, hard to trade, low valued and if they have some value is probably it downgrades as time passes...It is very very hard to find nowadays an Airdrop wich is giving a valuable crypto like BTC, ETH, XLM or XRP by doing some kind of tasks in Social Media...those airdrops have passed on: maybe in 2016 you could found something like this but not now.

Let's take an example. According to HorusEye(an airdrop collector website) there are 1079 airdrops campaigns in their database and 85% of them rewards in ERC-20 compatible tokens.

As you can see from the chart above almost 300 campaigns paid from 1-5 USD per actions while less of 20 paid more than 100 USD.

According the same website Telegram, Twitter and Facebook are, by far, the social media sites most wanted by campaigns owners to launch thheir campaigns.

Other problem with airdrops is your personal social media will be full of trash or nonsense info in better case, because following someone on Facebook or retweet other peoples tweets means your personal wall will be full of Facebook posts or tweets you do not want to, but are complaint to it in order to get some undervaluated coins. That's why people doing airdrops open new Facebook, Twitter and Reddit accounts so all trash will go in here and not in your personal and loved original accounts.

Summarizing...

I think is not worthing spend your time and efforts in faucets neither airdrops campaings. Too much work for some fractions of valued coins and for some undervalued coins too.

As you maybe have realized neither one or another are “the Midas touch” in crypto world: you will not make a fortune in a million of years doing things like that...it is hard to accept but easy to understand if you think 10 minutes about it.

If you need to get some crypto you need to rethink your strategy: maybe you need to spend some FIAT in order to obtain it and then see it growth by trading or maybe you need to take a look at some other places where you can invest your time, have fun, learn and earn for real.

There is no doubt Coil platform is here to stay. Since i found Coil in June this year, i´ve wrote more than 20 articles till today and share a couple of links of interest, i´ve been rewarded several times including a writer boost payout bonus(for which i am very grateful indeed!!)

Coil, as an innovative platform for publishing our own articles and links enabling us to monetize our own content, necessarily have to tend to success, but as in Beta stage, as many of others platforms and projects, have several issues needs to be remarked in order to solve them before the final launch.

As a Coil user(a Coil believer must say) i found myself in a position i have to mention what I like and I don't like and, why not, what i want to see in future release.

I´ve tested Coil platform in several browsers with several versions in several operative systems and using different Internet connection speeds, so i hope my opinion maybe will be taked into consideration for future releases.

...said the above, let´s go to bussiness!!!

The Good...

1- Nice interface, very clear and easy to use.

2- Well designed layout loading correctly in different devices with different pixels density and screen sizes.

3- Amazing concept of web content monetization allowing content creators across the spectrum, including writers and journalists, video creators, podcasters, streamers, musicians and much more to monetize the content they create to receive some kind of income instead of delivering completely free.

4- Allows two kind of posts: public and subscriber only.

5- Allows split content so readers needs to pay to unlock the rest of content the writer has locked down.

6- Use XRP to tip content creators(Go XRP!!!) ...this is for the future, there is no doubt Ripple and XRP will become higher players in crypto world and no matter what happen i am sure XRP will become more valuable as time passes.

7- Partnership with XRPTipbot to send payments to creators

8- Writers boost payout bonus...this is not unique but in case of XRP it is for sure. There are others platforms rewarding content creators in a monthly basis but they´re not using XRP and instead, they use their own token: XRP is the best!!!

9- No referral system!! Strange isn´t it? But in fact, i like this and is one of the world´s most beloved feature i do not miss!!!

10- Articles are save into “Draft folder” wich makes easy to recover your work in case you didn't save it or publish it and continue writing later.

The Bad...

1- Kind of buggy in Android phones(maybe in all cellphones). Article editor do not allow copy/paste from any source.

2- Kind of buggy in slow Internet connections.

3- Not possible to see who´s following you.

4- Article editor has very few options in order to “make up” articles to make them more attractive to the readers eyes.

5- Not supported in old browsers.

6- Process of saving to Drafts occurs as you type in, so every character writed is saved instantly wich becomes into frequently network access wich is bad for slow Internet connections causing web browsers to hang up.

The Wanted ...

1- Allows to see who is following you(not the amount of followers but followers nickname instead)

2- Extend support for old bowsers(not soooo old) and inform about this in frontpage (maybe in footer?)

3- Fix slow connections issue because in the whole world there are so many people using Internet connections that are extremely slow but you can be sure they maybe have amazing ideas to share...and want to be paid off by offering them to community

4- Dedicated frontpage that loads well in slow connections and in old browsers...inform about technologies supported by Coil(minimun Internet speed and supported browsers version)

5- Telegram channel to discuss the good, the bad and the most wanted things about Coil platform.

6- Some kind of “Clap” or “Like” button wich let the author of the post to know someone passed by and gives a big thank you for your work...but no need to be subscribed to do this.

Maybe you, dear reader, are agree or disagree with me but the truth is that we are here to write and let the whole world know about our thoughts, feelings and discoveries; but i think we are here too to make Coil a better platform too, so, express your thoughts about it without fear!!! :)

INFOGRAPHIC: XRP (Ripple) community

Who doesn't like XRP? A lot of people hates XRP and Ripple but it is true a LOT of people also loves XRP and therefore Ripple too.

The truth is XRP is most loved than hated nowadays and fans club stills growing on.

Common people has realized the power XRP has backed by Ripple so they has put their investments and their hope into this coin. Stablished institutions worldwide like banks and money transfer systems has realized too that benefits from associating with Ripple(even without using XRP) will be bigger than expected, so they are taking steps trying to integrate Ripple protocol and tools to their bussiness seeking for more benefits.

I said “common people” but what about people not “common”? Let's make a short list of famous people loving Ripple and XRP.

Snoop Dogg

One of the most famed rappers from the music, was invited by Ripple to perform at their community meet up during the 2018 Consensus Conference. He has not stated anything about investing or holding any XRP, we shall assume that he supports the project since he made an appearance at the event. Many believe that Ripple paid the artist not only in cash, but also in XRP tokens...maybe an urban legend in here???

Ashton Kutcher

This famous actor well knonw by his performance in Two and a Half Men, That 70s Show, Dude Where’s My Car and Punk’d is also a savvy venture capitalist, and one of XRP’s most vocal supporters. In May 2018, he revealed that, together with his business partner, they donated $4 million worth of XRP to Ellen DeGeneres for her wildlife charity fund.

Ellen DeGeneres

Come on, you can’t believe that after recieving a $4 million XRP donation, DeGeneres didn’t purchase some XRP of her own?

Madonna

Pop Queen posted on her Twitter account that for her 60th birthday her goal was to send a substantial donation to orphans in Malawi via the use of Ripple coins. The initial target was set at $60,000 by both Ripple and Madonna, but the Malawi charity succeeded in raising much more, the sum totaling up to $200,000 (donated later by 800 individuals).

Bill Clinton

The former 42nd president of the U.S., Bill Clinton, was invited to be the keynote speaker at Ripple’s Swell conference in San Francisco that took place this October. Clinton expressed his support for crypto and blockchain, stating that the distributed ledger technology (DLT) has “staggering” possibilities and it has no reliance on national borders.

Warren Buffet

One of the world’s richest men, praised blockchain and its technology. Commonly called “Oracle of Omaha”, the owner of Berkshire Hathaway consortium is an avid follower of XRP and Litecoin but he states several times he “does not believe in Bitcoin”. He has invested in XRP thousands even millions of dollars. In his Twitter account he is followed by thousands people who try to follow his advices in order to invest. Recently he said: “Not investing in #XRP will be the greatest financial mistake of your life.”

...and last by no least: ME!!!!

Im an avid supporter of XRP and a fullitme believer in Ripple Labs and its technologies for the future, that's why every time i have the chances to invest some FIAT into crypto i choose XRP(or ETH) because i belive and i always think every time i bought one of this coins i make an investment for the future...do you do??

Every time we see a historical photo there is no way our hearts do not beat faster in our chests. The look goes from one side to the other of the photo looking for the minimun detail trying to find or identify objects, signs even footnotes written by someone who owns the photo or maybe by those who took it a long time ago.

Black and white photos were the standard in photography till 1970 decade when taking colored photos became an easy and cheaper way to “preserve a moment in time”. By this time camera prices were coming down, film sensitivity had been improved, electronic flash units were replacing flashbulbs, and in most families color had become the norm for snapshot-taking.

Black and White photography is still used normaly in art photography studios. Use cases goes from weddings to fashion world...no matter how B&W photos remains with us and it will be part of our lives for a long time...maybe forever.

The fact is prior to 1970 color photography was rare, so most of historical moments were taked in B&W wich obviously has its charms, but now we have the possibility to see and reinspect these moments from another perspective: colored photos by hand using Photoshop techniques.

MARINA AMARAL

Marina Amaral is a Brazilian artist known for her colorizations of historical black and white photographs. Amaral's creative process involves adding color to black and white photographs using Photoshop, following careful historical research to determine the colors of each object pictured.

In her blog she said:“Color has the power to bring life back to the most important moments.” ...so she decided to combine her fascination with history and skill using Photoshop to bring to life, in full and brilliant colors, a huge amount of moments in history.

From Napoleon’s Grande Armée Veterans pictures to WWII devastation nothing escaped to Marina's prodigious hands allowing us to see, and most important, to compare B&W photos and pictures with their respective colored version.

In her blog she have several hundreds of photos from different times in history positioned in a way we can “slide” from one side to another a vertical slider allowing us to “get colour” for a picture in B&W and vice versa, letting us compare both states of same photography...this is amazing...

Here is a sample of her works:

German soldiers near the town of Pointe du Hoc, about 6.5 km west of Omaha Beach, are taken prisoner by US troops.(Courtesy of Marina Amaral Blog)

...these are only a few of many colored photos she have in her portfolio. If you want to see more you need to pass by her personal blog where she have all her work free to see and interact with.(https://marinamaral.com)

THE IMPORTANCE OF COLORED HISTORICAL PHOTOS

For many people, collecting antique and historical photographs is a hobby but historians examine these kind of photos regularly. They examine them to see what life was like in the period they were shot. Historical photos can yield a lot of information. For example, a military historian can sometimes look at a photo of solider and tell from his uniform not only what war he fought in but also where and in what year he fought. So historical photographs are super important. They are one of the ways we remember what happened in the past.

If they are in their Black and White form it's ok, but colored photographs allow us two things: understand better the story behind the photo and communicate us a level of emotion we can not see in monochrome.

From the very beggining of cryptocurrencies showing people have always asked themselves how to earn Crypto for free...and there's always other people ready to answer the questions made by the crowd.

Some answers prove as time passes they're scam some others prove as valid but the truth here is none gives something for free and cryptocurrencies are not the exception.

In so many years surfing the internet i've found interesting sites offering Crypto but not for free: at least you need to invest time.

Here is the list showing sites i currently use and sites i dropped because low earnings or tokens earned are very low in real value.

1- https://beta.cent.co [ALMOST DROPPED]: kind of social network. You can write posts and be rewarded for it. You can sort best posts answers and get some income to do it. It rewards in ETH but income is too low. Posts about “crypto art” or art in general ways receive most rewards.

2- https://www.masmic.com [DROPPED]: kind of Quora in crypto world. It is a Q&A site. It rewards in Stellar Lumens(XLM). A user post a question and assigns a fixed amount of XLM rewarding best answers and users who sort them seeking the best. When Beta phase Masmic answers provided by users were small concise and few in numbers so obtain a reward for an answer provided was easy. Now they released the final product the amount of answers reach 500 per question with low quality and it is harder to get rewarded even giving a nice answer and being first.

3- https://crowdholding.com [DROPPED]: kind of microtasks site where new blockchain projects post tasks seeking for crowd feedback. Twitter and Facebook tasks are usual as well as tasks regarding for users opinion about productos. It rewards in YUP tokens(an ERC-20 compatible tokens) which value has decreased on time to a very low value wich i considered a useless token very difficult to trade and to obtain for sometimes hard tasks to do.

4- https://qurito.com
[DROPPED]: kind of Q&A site blockchain powered. Similar to Masmic in purpouse Qurito allows answering question and post polls too receiving users a reward by answering questions or participating on polls. It rewards in QURO(an ERC-20 compatible tokens) wich splits in “quritos” as low QURO unit. Rewards are hard to obtain because fixed amount per task allocated by posting users are very low and QURO tokens are very low in value and is difficult to trade.

5- https://coil.com [USING NOW]: you get paid to post original content. Rewards in XRP(Ripple) and sent monthly bonuses to best posting users. It uses XRPTipbot tool to sent rewards for monetized content. You can monetize even your own website using a special Tag inserted in home page of website you own.

6- https://tipestry.com [USING NOW]: you can upload a reference to a site you find on the Internet and want to share with community and get feedback on it. You can share a to a website or to a specific article or post on a website. Rewards in DOGE BTC ETH(DOGE right now) and allows withdrawals when you reach minimun 102 DOGE with 2 DOGE fee per transacción.

7- https://www.publish0x.com/ [USING NOW]: kind of paid publishing platform where writers and readers get paid. Rewards in several crypto currencies( HYDRO BNTY and DAI) it depends which one is sponsoring Publish0x platform in a given moment. Readers choose the percentage of total tip going for writers and the rest goes for themselves. Publish0x run contests where you can earn ETH by showing your Crypto investment portfolio for example.

8- https://beta.pynk.io/ [USING NOW]: people powered investment site. It is a place to predict Bitcoin prices and get rewards in Wisdom Points wich every quarter of the year are converted into Pynk Security tokens (an ERC-20 compatible tokens) or cash. Now in Beta phase is an amazing tool to test and to stay. They have an amazing Telegram community which helps a lot and why not you can make new friends every day. This is the tool for the future and together with Coil the one i use most.

So this are some of the places i use to work with in order to earn some Crypto. Some are better than others but choices are choices and depends on you to select the rigth one for you.

Stay tunned because Part 2 of this article will coming soon!!!

Recently in a community chatroom in Telegram where a group of friends were arguing about safest investments possibilities in crypto world we came into the question about XRP future because the majority of them(including me) think ETH and XRP were the best and safest investments we can made present year for years comming.

In fact i've been a believer and supporter of XRP since the first day i entered in crypto world. The “problem” is XRP is so attractive there is no way a person who really thinks about it cannot fall in love with it and decides to invest.

Ripple(XRP ) as cryptocurrency, has got everyone’s attention since day 1 for its robust transactions system, a well-built infrastructure and has proven the test of time wich is something VERY important due to some previous popular coins have fallen this last test and have going down getting into forgotten lands and now are part of history dragging believers investments with them.

XRP is doing well present year despite some people say about coin performance. If we look at rank history graph at coinlib.io we found this year XRP has been in 3rd position climbing to 2nd one at the beginning of the year.

Performance graph shows us a nice performance of XRP till June dropping a little in July.

According to https://cointobuy.io XRP today is positioned at 16 place in coins they recommend to buy with 51.5% of potential profit.

And 16% of 370 users at https://cryptopanic.com think XRP is the best coin to hold until May 1st 2020.

For me XRP future seems promising. Some people keep doing day trading in order to get most out the trading strategies they plan, others recommend hold(or hodl ; ) ) till next year foreseeing a rapid rise in XRP value based on forecastings saying XRP value will increase as time passes.

Facebook has released today Libra Whitepaper regarding everything we need to know about Libra project.

Facebook defines Libra as:

“A simple global currency and financial infrastructure that empowers billions of people.”

Regarding this statement they pretend to:

“Reinvent money. Transform the global economy. So people everywhere can live better lives.”

It is widely known that a long time ago Facebook is trying to “enter” cryptocurrency world by the big door so, in order to succeed they have heavily invested time and a huge amount of resources into building what we know today as Libra.

Libra is made up of three parts that will work together to create a more inclusive financial system:

- It is built on a secure, scalable, and reliable blockchain;

- It is backed by a reserve of assets designed to give it intrinsic value;

- It is governed by the independent Libra Association tasked with evolving the ecosystem.

So what we have in here is: Libra cryptocurrency will be built on the “Libra Blockchain”...yes their own blockchain; it will be backed up by a reserve of assets so it will be a stablecoin and will be governed not by Facebook itself else by the “independent” Libra Association...that's all it takes: that's Libra after all.

Facebook stated that:

“A basket of bank deposits and short-term government securities will be held in the Libra Reserve for every Libra that is created, building trust in its intrinsic value. The Libra Reserve will be administered with the objective of preserving the value of Libra over time.”

...so Libra as a crypto unit asset will be backed by real assets turning Libra coin into a stablecoin...pretty nice but not what every people was expecting to hear because after a lot of discussion over the last few months and a huge amount of speculative content over the whole Internet people were expecting a regular crypto asset, perhaps with hope put into the idea of a “new Bitcoin” or at least, a new crypto coin competing with Bitcoin.

Masmic.com is a website where you can ask questions and receive answers...yes, nothing new under the sun...You can achieve the same using Quora for example.

But the main difference in here is Masmic rewards users by answering questions posted...better say, asking users “tip” best answers using Stellar Lumens (XLM) so you CAN EARN answering questions or upvoting others answers...pretty nice!!

I discovered Masmic when they were in Beta stage and sign up into website was only thru invitation links: direct sign up was not allowed.

Now they are wide open to everyone and Masmic gets a huge impulse in terms of the number of users, but something i noticed too is that the numbers of answers regarding a single topic or question has been exponential increased becoming poor answers and sometimes..nonsense.

I've seen questions with 586 answers or 128 or 140...huge amount of answers to a single question don't you think? The problem in here is when Masmic was beta closed, amount of answers were less(much more less) and they were high valuable, simple, concrete...and it was easy to get a piece of reward by answering or by upvoting...but now everyone can sign up, answering system has downgraded himself at the point of spammers have taken sometimes the entire answering thread for a question.

Now is very hard to get some reward in XLM because of this. That leds me to a couple questions:

1- Will blockchain projects who allows rewarding people by activities permit every kind of people to sing in?

2- Would be better to have fewer users in order to guarantee a higher quality in activities developed inside the platform?

...i think blockchain projects needs to review this aspect. As a proposal i think these projects may conduct a “test phase” were they allow everyone to sign up and, and based on users activity's quality and content posted ban some users and let those who are most valuable to the system and to the people paying for answers(or whatever they are paying for)

The value of blockchain projects are tied to their users base so, having a huge user community but with low quality value downgrades projects to the ground...that's why Masmic.com is not helping much people right now.
