i love this title card from le bonheur, a movie made by Agnès Varda in 1965 which I have not seen but this is what i learned from the discussion here.
a sunflower is many flowers what appear to be yellow petals around the edge of its head are actually individual ray flowers and the face of the head consists of hundreds of disk flowers which will each form into a seed.
