i don't subscribe to that (or any) kind of essentialism but i wish i'd come across this quote when i was teaching at an art school. could have used it to piss a few more people off.

a rare thing : good freetrade organic coffee at a reasonable price. you do have to cycle in the rain and wind for an hour to dirk in overvecht and back to get it but that serves you right for living in utrecht oost and afterwards you'll feel really, really dutch.
i am guessing but is it possible that whoever designed the google maps widget for iphone did their undergraduate degree in either latin or egyptology?
