Husband, Father and Investor. Been in Crypto since 2017.
I blog about everything and everybody that is crypto; Twitter: @xrptwin

There is going a buzz through Crypto Twitter, Telegram, YouTube, you name it; it is celebrated but it is also scary....

This Blog is going to be a little bit of me rambling away .......

We are living in a different time at the moment. The economy is not doing to well ..... Quantitative Easing, still a topic the mass has not heard of, Covid-19 is no positive contribution and .... well .... we are just living in uncertainty ! ! !

Is a weak Dollar, Euro, Pound, Yen good for the StockMarket and/ or Precious Metals and / or Crypto ... no one knows .... One thing we DO know, if the StockMarket goes down, institutional investors look for alternatives to invest their money in. Historically, Bonds and Precious Metals were the directions that were taken, but having Crypto as a possibility may give these investors an additional route.

Staying up to date is key for the proper directions, but you have to separate the real news from the manipulative news that is fake, FUD and only here to serve a short volatile bounce (upward or downward).

Reading stories like:

Source

Source

Source

These are positive news articles and looking at a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being 100% truth, more than likely are closer to 10.

But stories shouting things like this:

Source

All these titles scream millionaire in the making, they might be true ..... but it is all screaming a little too much.

These stories pop up more and more, once again attitudes are changing and I see, what I saw in 2017, a bigger group of people that is interested in Crypto. Interested is not enough yet, we need investors. So, besides the institutional investors that ARE able to move the market, more retail is always good.

I speak to many people and sometimes Crypto is discussed. Not only initiated by me, but others start it also .... the little flame is getting bigger.

For XRP Investors the biggest story, that DOES deserve attention is the Flare Network, definitely stirring up things, but it is also the sleeping giant Codius that should deserve MORE attention than it currently gets.

Codius explained with just a couple words: Codius is an open source project for smart contracts. Pretty much the same like Ethereum, but they are used for different end goals. Codius aims to attach smart contracts to any crypto/ digital currency/ token and Ethereum supports smart contracts natively ! ! !

Comparing it with Ethereum is already a wake up call, that is the second largest crypto currency by Marketcap ..... WELL HELLO ! ! !

So, where am I going with this ..... well no where ! ! !

I am positive but just have no clue where this all is heading ..... People scream the weirdest things; 1 dollar by EOY, $3.00, $10.00, $30.00, $1,000.00, yeah even $2700.00. People believe it, people are calling each other names.

Think if XRP goes to 1000 dollars, what the MarketCap is going to be, ludicrous

we just don't know ! ! !

I am not even sure if the MarketCap is done properly and that should be the worth of a company that is behind it. This is all new and these amounts, they are all new. Think about MarketCap of some Fortune 500 companies ..... who would have thought that 50 years ago .... 2018 showed us the first 1 Trillion Dollar Company (Apple), who would have thought ...... 1 TRILLION DOLLARS. Well, not the people in 1918, thinking about capital growth ......

It has been a horrible year so far, not too many positive things, but it probably leads somewhere. The fourth quarter, an important one, definitely will impact the overall year and let's see where 2021 is going. Hopefully a sustainable solution for some virus, a little bit of economic stability, hard to think of, crypto growth and at least being nice to each other. The separation between all the people living on this earth has never been bigger, but in the end .... we need to do it together.

A couple days ago Thomas Silkjaær shared the following Tweet with us:

He was talking about success and in his Tweet there was another Tweet talking about XRP ! ! ! As I respect Thomas a lot, I wanted to read more about this and a very interesting story I found. Without giving away the clue immediately, I contacted the account name Liquid_XRP to hear the story first hand.

You definitely want to read this:

XRPTwin:

Can you tell me a couple things about yourself ? ? ?

Liquid_XRP:

I am 32 with two kids. Work a normal Full-time job. I spend most of my time coaching my kids sports teams.

XRPTwin:

So Crypto, when did you get introduced/ excited ? ? ?

Liquid_XRP:

I was first introduced in the later half of 2017. I kept hearing about Bitcoin and decided to do some research. Then I found XRP.

I always felt like whoever was working with banks, regulators and governments would win out.

XRPTwin:

When did you get introduced to XRP ? ? ?

Liquid_XRP:

It was just searching the internet. Mostly Twitter looking to gather information on Crypto in general. I saw how much faster XRP was then Bitcoin. I also saw that the fees were much lower. After tons of research I thought to myself

this could be world changing

XRPTwin:

So losing all your Crypto. Can you share us your story, what happened , what gave you the signal:

Liquid_XRP:

I’ll never forget it. It was June 16th. I listen to the YouTubers about outages and get your Crypto off the exchange. More outages started to happen, so I decided I need to get a ledger nano quick. I purchased a ledger from Amazon Prime. The next day I received the Ledger I was so excited to finally get my Crypto off the exchange.

XRPTwin

To me THAT sounds already like a red flag .... I had to wait for three weeks before I received my Ledger ! ! !

There was some confusion. I have an Android phone so I went to the Google play store and typed in ledger nano. I saw “ledger live” and “ledger live mobile”. Ledger live had an average rating. Ledger live mobile had a great rating..

When I opened the ledger live mobile it didn’t really work so I switched to the ledger live and proceeded to set it up. I’ve checked and the Ledger live Mobile app has since been removed from the google play store.

I received the ledger and it looked brand new I was ready to set it up.. I wrote the 24 words on the blank sheet itself. After I had set up and sent almost all of my XRP to the ledger I put it away. About an hour later I used the mobile app to view my holdings. It showed I only had 20 XRP in my account. My heart sank. I was in disbelief.

There was no way I was scammed. It must be a glitch. I checked the transaction history and saw that 40 minutes after my last deposit all but 20 XRP was transferred out to an address.

That whole night I was searching and searching for a solution. Writing emails to ledger and anyone I could. I got on twitter and contacted @xrplorer and gave him the transaction ID.

Source

At 03:00 in the morning I received a message from them stating the funds were transferred to an exchange called ChangeNow.

Source

They instructed I contact the exchange and my local police department.

I felt like I was in a nightmare. One of my worst fears is happening. I later did research.

This happens way too much. Scams and theft are running wild within cryptocurrency ! ! !

I felt like I let my family down by losing this much money. They know how much I believe in XRP. They told me they will always love me and it’ll be alright.

I first contacted ChangeNow and gave the support team the transaction ID and screenshots of what happened. They were quickly able to stop the transfer of funds before being paid out. They explained from this point on they could only speak with law enforcement on this matter.

XRPTwin:

The local police department was asked ..... tell me how was that ...... explaining what XRP is, Ledgers, Blockchain etc ...... ? ? ?

Liquid_XRP:

The early morning of June 17th I called the local police department and they had someone at my door in minutes. I said to the officer I have had cryptocurrency stolen from me and I gave him the amount in dollars. He said that is felony theft based on the amount. I may as well been speaking a foreign language when explaining what a ledger nano was. I asked if he’s heard of

Bitcoin ? ? ?

Yes

XRP ? ? ?

No Idea

I summed it up that I had bought a Crypto like bitcoin and did not want it on an exchange. Similar to a stock exchange with prices going up and down. With Crypto you don’t necessarily own the tokens if you don’t own the keys. By sending coins to a ledger nano you own the keys to your Crypto. That way if the exchange is hacked/outages the coins are not there and your have it in your hands.

He told me the biggest online thing he’s had to deal with was .

He wrote the report and said a detective would contact me.

I also went online and sent the FBI, IC3, Google support, ledger support messages about what had happened.

Source

I heard nothing back from the FBI/IC3. Google support gave me some generic email response.

Ledger support followed up on twitter, but I let them know the funds were stopped by the exchange.

I let the ChangeNow support team know there was a police report filed and he would be reaching out to them. ChangeNow was only able to speak with law enforcement

XRPTwin:

So what was the turning point, the moment things looked positive again ? ? ?

Liquid_XRP:

It did not start out very well with the detective assigned to my case. I tried leaving messages , and going to the police station, but they claimed he wasn’t available.

After a couple weeks I got hold of him. He said he’s been dealing with murder, rapes, and other bad crimes. I told him I understand those are more pressing, but when you can please contact the exchange because they will only speak to law enforcement at this point.

I actually received an email from the detective not long after stating that he was going to close the case because they had no further leads that could result in an arrest or prosecution. He said

I could get a report in a few days and handle the return of my currency in whatever manner is necessary

I was very depressed when I read this. I didn’t know who else to turn to if law enforcement was not going to help. The exchange had the stolen funds held I just needed to go through law enforcement to comply with their rules.

I ended up going to the detectives superior and explaining everything to him. The very same day the detective was able to complete the forms for the exchange to investigate the theft.

I could of gave up after that. With no real clue on what to do. Law enforcement telling me they are going to close the case. My Crypto stolen from me. *I was determined to not give up* on this and be patient, but continue to pursue getting the funds back.

On September 4th I received notification from ChangeNow that everything was completed and they were going to be transferring my funds back. This was one of the greatest feelings I’ve ever had.

XRPTwin

Well, XRPTwin has birthday on the 4th of September, so no wonder it is a great day ! ! !

XRPTwin:

I am giving you the chance to give a shoutout , who to thank ? ? ?

Liquid_XRP:

I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart @xrplorer for their quick assistance in tracking the stolen funds to the exchange.

This was incredible in time being of essence

I would also like to thank the ChangeNow support team. Once they received the needed information they were able to stop the funds and hold them safely.

I would also like to thank my local police department. This was all brand new to them and I will admit at one point it seemed like they were going to drop the ball. I am happy they stuck with it to help me out.

XRPTwin:

Now what, how do you feel about transferring digital assets ? ? ?

Liquid_XRP:

Now that I have my Crypto back I’ve been leery about transferring them anywhere else. Currently they are on an exchange that has not offered the Flare airdrop. This is going to be a big decision for me coming soon.

XRPTwin:

What do you think the rest of 2020 is going to hold ? ? ?

Liquid_XRP:

I think there is just too much going on for the old way of doing thing not to change. We had the virus pandemic, Massive money printing, Stimulus and the need to distribute funds quickly to the people.

I think they are going to change the infrastructure in the background where it’s almost unnoticeable of a change to the normal person.

XRPTwin:

Stopping Quantitative easing, is that going to be a problem for digital assets ? ? ?

Liquid_XRP:

I don’t think so. I think mass adoption is still not even close. I do not think QE has even hit Crypto yet though. When it does it is going to be a huge Wave.

XRPTwin:

What is THE lesson you would like to share with people that are new to the blockchain industry ? ? ?

Liquid_XRP:

People that are new I suggest you learn from all aspects. Watch the YouTubers, read blogs, get on twitter. There is so much to learn and it can be overwhelming at first with how much information is coming out daily. Just start slow and every action you make do a bunch of research.

Whether its from choosing the best exchange for you to transferring your assets off the exchange.

If something does happen the XRP community is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful communities. Do not give up!

XRPTwin:

Last question .... XRP ? ? ?

Liquid_XRP:

This is a once in a lifetime event. I feel it’s going to change the world

what a story, WHAT A STORY ! ! !

A couple dishonest people ruin the industry for the ones that are honest. Incredible Liquid_XRP was helped in such a way that he got his funds returned.

Absolutely a story to read as he is/ was and will be not the only one falling for this. He was lucky though to push the right buttons, to contact the right people, but let this be a lesson for everybody, next time he may not be that lucky. Always be careful with your actions, always DYOR.

We have seen a lot of amazing ladies in the last 10 days, YouTube, Twitter, CEO's, Story Writers, Technical Analyst, so many brain power in a short amount of time. Today is going to be even different ! ! !

A New Angle ...... A Reporter.

Between all the DM's this lady receives, I am only talking about Twitter and not all the other platforms she receives messages at, she read mine and responded with a thumbs up. She needed some time, it actually was 2 DAYS, before she replied to my questions. Not just Yes, No, True, Maybe, but amazingly formed sentences, making it clear without getting the feeling the answers were beating around the bush.

Straight forward and just another lady, like an open book. Very professional and that, I was happy to see.

So, this lady is a reporter for Cointelegraph, everybody using CryptoTwitter, that has been around for a couple months, should be well aware of this website.

Yes, yes, I know, questions have been raised about the content, but not specifically Cointelegraph. Websites like DailyHodl, Forbes, Bitcoinist, CCN, CryptoSlate these are all familiar names and everybody has had their beef with these sites.

If you are into a specific coin you “may” know things that are not in a report. XRPCommunity, Bitcoiners, VeFam, DAPSCommunity they all work daily, absorb every single detail about their digital asset that may help resulting in a sentence that does not appear in that breaking story offsetting the outcome or making it less of a “big deal” ! ! !

Source

Whatever you want to say Cointelegraph does cover the news and is well written. The content is Crypto, so this is what we want to read. So who is Rachel, let's find out and ask her some difficult questions ..... there is no difficult in her dictionary, that is something I found out ! ! !

So:

XRPTwin:

Can you introduce yourself in a couple lines, besides the text on Cointelegraph below ? ? ?

Source

Rachel Wolfson:

Sure! I’ve been covering the blockchain and crypto space for over 3 years now. I’ve written for publications including Huffington Post, Bitcoin Magazine, Forbes and I am currently a reporter for Cointelegraph.

also moderated several panels on blockchain at conferences around the world and have lectured on the topic at Stanford University.

XRPTwin:

The only thing I can say about Stanford is that I have played tennis on their courts, was beautiful ! ! !

XRPTwin:

Did your job at Forbes prepare you for the job you have right now at Cointelegraph ? ? ?

Rachel Wolfson:

Yes, writing for Forbes as a contributor for 2 years did prepare me for my current role at Cointelegraph. Not only did writing for Forbes help advance my knowledge of blockchain, but it also allowed me to build my network and connect with industry leaders.

Source

XRPTwin:

How do you feel to be the the person interviewed right now, does that happen often ? ? ?

Rachel Wolfson:

I enjoy being interviewed and surprisingly, this has been happening more often lately. Now that people are spending more time at home, I think they are becoming interested in the reporters and writers covering the blockchain and crypto space.

Source

XRPTwin:

You were on the cover of Gokhshtein Magazine; amazing. David is really pro Crypto / Blockchain, care to elaborate a little on that interview ? ? ?

Rachel Wolfson:

Yes, I was featured on the cover of Gokhshtein Magazine in May 2019, during Consensus 2019. David wanted to feature leading women in the space, and I was flattered that he chose me to be on the cover with two other wonderful women.

The interview that was featured in the magazine focused on my career and general thoughts of the blockchain space. I believe I mentioned the rise of enterprise blockchain and how large organisations will use the technology to ensure trust, transparency and consistency when it comes to business data.

XRPTwin:

You interviewed CZ, how was this and with what did he surprise you ? ? ?

Rachel Wolfson:

Yes, I recently interviewed CZ, the CEO and Founder of Binance, for a Cointelegraph article.

We mainly discussed decentralised finance, also known as “DeFi,” and the impact it’s having on the crypto space. Since I focus so much on enterprise blockchain, I have been hesitant to learn about DeFi. Many of the projects we’ve seen so far have been questionable, reminding me of the ICO boom and bust.

However, Binance is one of the leaders in DeFi, so speaking with CZ really changed my outlook. For instance, CZ explained what DeFi means and how this is opening up liquidity for certain assets. Centralised exchanges are also adopting DeFi features and have started listing some DeFi tokens. DeFi is also setting the stage for enterprise adoption, which is really exciting in my opinion.

While it will take a few years to see organisations leverage DeFi, automated invoices with immediate liquidity will eventually be seen in large organisations, along with the possibility of staking. CZ also mentioned that while there are DeFi bubbles, the models behind DeFi like automated money markets and staking coins for liquidity will carry on.

For the whole interview, please visit Cointelegraph

XRPTwin:

This week I interview many ladies that are Crypto-influencers. Why is it that there are still more men in this business, there are so many SMART women ? ? ?

Rachel Wolfson:

I think that technology tends to attract more men than women in general, and blockchain and crypto is no different. Although this is the case, the women that are involved with blockchain and cryptocurrency are very knowledgeable.

Once you understand the concepts, it’s easy to see why this technology is appealing to both genders. I think the word “blockchain” and “cryptocurrency” tend to frighten people, but it’s easy to get sucked in once you start learning more about the sector.

Source

XRPTwin:

Your personal opinion, has Covid-19 been helping the Digital Asset Industry or has it slowed down the market ? ? ?

Rachel Wolfson:

Yes, COVID19 has emphasised the need for blockchain. This is especially apparent when considering complex supply chains that require transparency. Medical equipment supply chains could greatly benefit from blockchain during this time, ensuring that stores are adequately stocked with supplies that are legitimate. I just discussed this topic on the IBM Blockchain Pulse podcast, feel free to listen!

Source

XRPTwin:

If there is 1 thing I should not ask you, it is .......

Rachel Wolfson:

I’m pretty open when it comes to discussing blockchain, but I hate it when people ask me about predicting the price of Bitcoin and for trading advice.

XRPTwin:

Eh ........ Rachel .....

Source

Just Kidding ! ! !

XRPTwin:

When you are not busy with work, crypto, what do you like to do for fun, you like sports, collecting stamps, ..... ? ? ?

Rachel Wolfson:

I am a fitness addict, so each morning before I do any work, I usually spend an hour working out. I run four times a week and do strength training almost every day. I also enjoy eating healthy and I am pretty particular about ensuring I have healthy options around for meals and snacks. If I wasn’t so involved with the blockchain space, I would want to be a fitness instructor.

Source

I think living a healthy lifestyle is extremely important and a big part of a successful career. Asides from that, I enjoy spending time with my best friend, Cami, my bichon frise. I’m also a big fan of watm weather and beautiful beaches, which is why I spend so much time in places like Maui.

Source

XRPTwin:

What would you like to tell the new people coming into this interview besides reading all the posts of Cointelegraph

reporters ? ? ?

Rachel Wolfson:

Cointelegraph is my go to for all the crypto and blockchain news, but there are also great books, podcasts and even documentaries on the topic.

One of my favourite books is Digital Gold by Nathaniel Popper and Bitcoin Billionaires by Ben Mezrich. I’m a fan of the Bad Crypto Podcast and the IBM Blockchain Pulse podcast. I also recently watched a great documentary on Netflix called “Banking on Bitcoin.” Stay tuned though, as I will have a new blockchain book coming out next year!

Source

XRPTwin:

How easy / hard is it to write about crypto ? ? ?

Rachel Wolfson:

It’s relatively easy when I’m writing about a topic I understand well, like enterprise blockchain.

However, writing about new concepts like DeFi can be challenging. As a journalist, I think people assume I know everything about the entire blockchain and crypto industry — this is not true at all. I have to learn about each new emerging concept, and the space is vast and constantly evolving!

Source

XRPTwin:

I have XRP in my name , so I do have to ask, what do you think of XRP ? ? ?

Rachel Wolfson:

I’m a fan of XRP and the community and I think DeFi will bring more liquidity to the asset class.

Source

XRPTwin:

2020 is going to be a success if ...... ? ? ?

Rachel Wolfson:

If the world stays positive. Yes, COVID19 has changed the world forever, but we must embrace that and adapt to the change. Now is the time for crypto and blockchain to really shine in terms of fulfilling the need for transparency and another digital money solution.

Source

Well there you have it, the views of a pro in the Blockchain writing corner. Very nice lady, knowledgeable, ready to learn even more. Looking forward reading more of your articles, but for now, time for you to read my article ...... Thank you ! ! !

STAY SAFE ! ! !

I know, I know ....... Wordless Wednesday, but for once, I am going to break with the tradition.

I have too many lady interviews and today is going to be a big one.

A whole Community is waiting for it and it is NOT the XRPCommunity. Transparency is key and this lady shows it. Very pleased she took the time, to sit down for this interview as it may have not been the best timing to ask for this interview:

This lady is super busy

Well, it probably is never a good time, but she took the time and I am super SUPER happy**

I am talking about Adel De Meyer

**First something about her name:

De Meyer, DeMeyer, De Meijer or De Meijere is a Dutch occupational surname related to English Mayor. It is particularly common in Flanders. That makes me feel closer to this interview, the Dutch part that is ! ! !

Source

This blog actually started in July, on the 25th to be precise, when I started a pole; finding out what digital asset has the biggest community, visible community, ......... outspoken community is probably the word I am looking for. XRP won this race easily, but there were a lot of reaction from the DAPS Community, so I had to give a shout-out to this community as it was not a choice to be picked.

So, I wanted to know more about this Project and if you want to learn aim high .... Asked a couple community members some questions and ended up asking Adel for an interview and she was positive from the start, making it clear though, she is a busy lady. Well it all found its way into the special I launched last week

so DAPS Project it is .....

Source

I did my research and yes the word company should not be used, but it puts the emphasis on the word project a little more, NOT A COMPANY ! ! !

So, without further ado:

XRPTwin:

Can you tell us about yourself ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

Entrepreneur, Startup Advisor, Speaker and Leader of DAPS Coin.

I come from a long marketing and PR background and have been recognised for 3 years in a row as a top 100 global marketing influencer. I’m a contributor on TNW and HackerNoon and have been recognised twice as a trendsetter in the NFT and Dapps industry.

I am leading DAPS Coin fighting for our right to privacy

With this aiming to achieve a top 50 coin status for the project.

XRPTwin:

You have a long marketing and PR background how has this helped you in your current role as Co-founder and leader at the DAPS Project ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

I was a New Media Specialist and still today an author, advisor, speaker and globally recognised for my contributions to the marketing and tech industry. In just 3 years’ time, I have built my brand so well using Social Media and sharing my expertise that I got published in top publications and have worked with some amazing brands to date. I worked with global brands like Adobe, Huawei, Pitney Bowes, Hootsuite, Marriott, Enjin, Akoin, SAP and Yelp.

This business experience helped me tremendously in making decisions, leading a community and building a team. Understanding users digital journeys, how they think and what the demand is in society and different countries in the world. Having built my own business and brand was the best thing I could ever do, not just for personal development but also for my current project, DAPS Coin.

XRPTwin:

We do have to have a question about the Monero's and ZCash's of this world. Let's take Monero: classified as a privacy coin due to its untraceable, unlink-able, private, and analysis resistant transactions. The DAPS protocol claims to be able to help coins like Monero and ZCash as they are not AS PRIVATE as they claim to be! Can you share how ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

In terms of ZCash, because they have public and private transactions a user who uses both will have certain characteristics that metadata can potentially used against them.

Source

In terms of Monero, it's not as much about the privacy of the coin as it is the ability to integrate. Monero does not conform to the BIP-39 standard. This means that every integration must be unique and it is a real pain to do. Whereas DAPS is always private and conforms to the BIP-39 standard and therefore has a very integration ability with 3rd parties.

Source

XRPTwin:

I read your article: 5 blockchain trends influencing the future of social media marketing ... Is social media blockchain's friend or fiend? IS social media ready for the beast called crypto currency and its industry ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

Crypto can’t survive without social media.

Source

XRPTwin:

Earlier this year I read an article the Daps believes their protocol can become the standard. What will make this happen, becoming the standard ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

Our belief stems from the fact that we managed to do what many thought was impossible. We have a hybrid chain with 3 separate proof types and 2 of them work in conjunction with each other and place blocks on the same chain. While this may in itself not be novel, the fact that we have done that in a full privacy coin and still have deterministic nodes means that we have created a new – some say better – way.

Standards are funny things, it requires peer review and consensus. We believe we can be seen as the standard, whether the industry agrees is another question.

Source

XRPTwin:

Can you say something about the partnership with SecuX ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

This partnership breaks new ground for both SecuX and DAPS by offering a best-in-breed privacy coin to the SecuX ecosystem. SecuX has the potential of emerging crypto payment technologies and explores more business potential through a simple blockchain technology with an affordable cost.

Source

Working with the SecuX team for the past 5 months has been a breeze and both learn from each other which is great. SecuX is also a startup that achieved a lot for their business to date including winning tech awards. With this integration it will soon be easy for anyone around the world to pay and accept DAPS with their Point of Sale solutions.

This hardware integration officially launching the end of September is only the beginning for this partnership.

XRPTwin:

Well, good timing I would say ! ! !

Source

XRPTwin:

You also have a collaboration with the Gaming Industry .... you launched Enjin Multiverse Collectibles. Can you say something about this ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

Yes this is correct. Our first blockchain game integration is already live! You can play with your unique DAPS characters on Bitcoin Hodler.

The one game we are really keen on launching as well is Age of Rust. DAPS characters will feature in their own story section of the game. Make sure you have your DAPS NFT’s to unlock this special section in games.

Source

XRPTwin:

Can you share something with us that the community did not know about you .... yet ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

I’m great at hunting, poker and speed reading.

Source

XRPTwin:

You are probably a very busy person, but what do you do if you are not working, what do you do to relax ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

Travel – Lots of exploring every chance that I get. I enjoy random road trips too, nothing as nice as a good drive to clear your head.

Lifestyle – Interests include, interior design, graphic design, fashion, reality tv, blockchain and Playstation gaming.

Family and my dog – I have a soft spot for both, so they get most of my attention when I can get away from work.

XRPTwin:

We know that Monero has implemented a fixed ring size for each transaction (currently 11 to the best of my knowledge) while DAPS randomly generates ring sizes (variable ring size) (between 11 and 15 to the best of my knowledge). What advantage does this give you against them ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

That's correct, Monero has a fixed size of 11 where we have a random size from 12 to 15. What this means is that by default our lowest ring size is already higher than Monero and because of the complete randomness of the decoy selection, no user habits can be ascertained.

Now a lot of people will say that a static Ring size is better. I disagree. While omni-ring is the golden trophy – that no one has gotten yet – having a static ring size, to me, means that once an intruder has learnt how to read the metadata of a static ring size transaction, that same formula can apply to any transaction.

Whereas the application of that formula to a variable ring size may not necessarily be accurate given that 1 transaction will have a different ring size to others.

They may be able to glean some data of off all the 12 sizes, but not the 13's possibly.

Source

XRPTwin:

What is the legal status of DAPS, Private Company, an LTCD, or ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

DAPS is not a company, it is an open-source decentralised community driven project. Soon DAPS will have a registered foundation.

Source

XRPTwin:

What percentage of the coins is in the hands of the “foundation to be”; this of course may sound a little so not private, but could you share something, ballpark figure ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

The total dev fund is only about 2 billion DAPS coins at the moment which is about 3% of the supply.

Source

XRPTwin:

Will you share what happened when PCN was headed by Breck Nevers. A lot of FUD spreads around, can / would you like to share some light in this darkness ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

When the leader then, Breck Nevers, announced and gave up on a swap from PCN to DAPS coin, I said well, I don’t know what you guys want to do, but you need to fix this mess and let’s just get it going.

I took charge of everything as it all went up in flames

even though I was really confused about the reaction and decisions that were made, I stayed. I later discovered that his entire plan was a scam, and there was no way I was going to let him get away with it.

I bought on consultants to figure out how to deal with the swap and advise us on what we could do for the community that had already invested in this product idea. We created DAPS token and communicated to the public about how we were going to move forward.

We started to develop the DAPS blockchain full-time from August of 2018. Fortunately, I had people that helped with some cash injections and the community offered some support to pay the developers. I got to reworking the business plan, the strategy, the team and the community. It was just “this is my task” now and I’m going to deliver on this goal and this vision we had.

Almost three years now since we started and wow, what a journey. I’m very proud of the accomplishments so far

and the support from our amazing community and team

Source

XRPTwin:

What is the future of DAPS regarding exchange regulations and Privacy Coins? How close are you working with governments/ official regulation bodies ? ? ?

Adel De Meyer:

I think we’re at a stage where governments realise if they ban privacy coins, people will still find a way to trade it, and then it will just go back underground. I think it’s more of “a rock and a hard place” right now.

The biggest challenge for us (privacy coins) will be the centralised exchanges. I mean, that’s really where governments can cut it off. But again, people are just going to get into exchanges that are not registered, maybe not centralised or big, but you don’t need to be listed on OKEx or Binance to reach $50 or $100 million market cap. We’ve seen that before.

Source

If you think about it from another angle, authorities can have the required information and access to your information through centralised exchanges because you need to do KYC. So really there is no reason to have this witch hunt against privacy coins. Privacy coins are vital to digital currency success, how are banking systems and corporates going to operate without privacy on their systems?

Well, there you have it, another lady that rocks in the Crypto Atmosphere ! ! !

I absolutely learnt a lot from Adel and it has been a pleasure speaking to her. Privacy Coins is a whole different world, but absolutely important for this industry. Let's see where this is heading.

Adel, once again, thank you for your support and let's revisit next year to see what happened, I am excited and looking forward to all the progress that will be made ......

STAY SAFE ! ! !

Well, if you have a week, eh ..... two weeks of power house women, ladies in the blockchain, you cannot pass on CryptoEri. I have known her for a couple years now, had my first interview with her in June 2019 and can see she is one of the nicest ladies out there. I am not talking down on any of the other ladies out there/ that I have interviewed for these special last days, but she is a big asset to the crypto industry. She is THE link for many with Japan and gives us all the SBI information we are longing for. Well, we need to be updated by this lady, let's see what is new, what she can share with us...

WAIT WAIT WAIT ...... before we dive into the interview, I need to share a picture with you that Eri gave to me during my first interview, I know she wants me to .......

I feel honoured as I still believe I am the only one she gave it to. I shared it before, which was approved, but I do want the new people in Crypto to see this picture .... It is an adorable picture, well let's wait posting it, you DO want to read on as this picture will show up somewhere .... ? ! ?

So let's get into the interview:

Source

With the famous 999 Following ! ! !

XRPTwin:

Although you are well known, what about a short intro for the people, 4 lines: who is CryptoEri ? ? ? (Eri loves it when I ask her to do it in a couple lines ...... I predict more than 4 lines ..... ? ? ?

CryptoEri:

Well, hi everybody, I grew up in the San Fransisco Bay Area, played sports and ran with more than one crowd. Bounced around 4 colleges, easily changing directions until finally graduating to wear dresses working in middle management for three different Fortune 500 Companies until the age of 36.

Abruptly quit, got rid of the dresses and taught myself HTML and Javascript to start an internet company that matched secondary market art buyers and sellers of limited edition prints, originals and sculptures from my spare bedroom the same year eBay launched.

Source

I sold that business in 1999, and jumped into a digital art start-up in Los Angeles, whereby we went public through a reverse merger but did not survive the dot.com crash.

Moved to Tokyo and have thoroughly enjoyed this city with its amazing gig economy while operating a tiny export business that has had to adjust to the current global shipping disruptions.

NO ERI ! ! ! Not 4 paragraphs ..... but it is absolutely fine. It is so nice to get to know her better and better ! ! !

It seems there is some traction coming from Asia:

Is this SBI ? ? ?

CryptoEri:

Asia is a hotbed for digital technology, AI, blockchain, VR and robotics. Singapore has the most going on in terms of development hubs, but Thailand, Japan and South Korea are also in the race to be leaders. SBI Japan just announced a new project to build a blockchain-powered digital securities exchange the Kansai region near Osaka which will be an additional boon for Japan.

XRPTwin:

Is SBI ready , is R3 ready , is Ripple ready ? ? ?

CryptoEri:

R3 is very busy on multiple projects in Japan through the SBI R3 Japan JV. It's only going to ramp up especially since Sumitomo Mitsui, the worlds 12th largest bank took 14% of SBI's 60% share. We will see some dominating projects come out of this ranging from syndicated loans, trade finance, insurance, real estate, and supply chain management.

XRPTwin:

If I take my son to Japan, what are the coolest 3 things you are going to show him / do with him ? ? ?

CryptoEri:

Kids in Japan love Fuji-Q Highland. It's the most popular amusement park, located in the Fuji Five Lake region at the foot of Mount Fuji. Best known for its thrilling, record-breaking roller coasters and elaborate, anime- themed rides.

Tokyo Disney “Sea” is also unique to Japan. Absolutely a favourite. Food can be a challenge for kids not raised in Japan.

Almost everything looks and tastes strange, but the Japanese bakeries are amazing with selections that go way beyond sweets and breads. The pizza, hotdogs, sandwiches, curry and vegetable choices are unbelievably tasty.

In Q4, the most radical news we may get from Eri is ........ ? ? ?

CryptoEri:

In Q4, the most radical news might come from an update on a book project I'm working on.

Source

Well, I will do a book review early January, OK CryptoEri ? ? ?

XRPTwin:

Women in tech / blockchain ..... you have reported on women visiting your YouTube channel. Can you give us an update on this and why is it that there are still more men than women in this industry. Soooo many smart women ? ? ?

CryptoEri:

Finally! The number is jumping.

It sat below 5% for so long, however that seems to be quickly changing. My guess is I'll reach 10% by the end of 2020.

XRPTwin:

How do we get more women in blockchain in top leading positions:

  1. Sharing your videos with sorority’s and finance, accounting and economics clubs?
  2. Clone CryptoEri
  3. Nothing , it will come

CryptoEri:

Women in Banking and Finance is common place but I'd love to see more blockchain projects that are built by and for women. I think it will come and when it does, it will add a lot of value to the space.

Source

XRPTwin:

What would you like to tell new people coming in this industry ? ? ?

CryptoEri:

If you're new to the space, study beyond the headlines, be skeptical and stay current on global news. ie: politics and economic changes on a country by country basis.

You also should seek out thought leaders that represent the widest range of topics and positions. All these technology projects are tied to these aspects. Using Twitter as a source is a good place to start.

XRPTwin:

Anything to add ? ? ?

CryptoEri:

Make friends in this space

oh ....... I promised the readers an additional photo I got from CryptoEri ..... Should I share it for Coil Subscribers Only ? ! ?

No, need to share it with everybody. So, here is the adorable picture of a MiniEri ..... gotta love it ! ! !

I hope all will respond what they think about this little Eri trying to tap-dance ...

STAY SAFE ! ! !

There are so many different roads that lead to Blockchain, that lead to what you do with the industry and where you are heading. Well, this lady took a different route and let me tell you, a very interesting one ! ! !

She was the first lady to respond to what if I do an all women interview week .... well, this is the second week n and she deserves the main stage. Was very prompt about answering and have spoken with her off and on about many different things. Lovely lady ! ! !

So, who is lovely, who is lady, who is the lovely lady: Lisa N. Edwards; a very diverse person, has done many things already ! ! !

Checking out her Twitter Profile:

Well, the hearts next to her name, happy ..... Butterfly Chaser, can't help it, I am smiling ..... author, screenwriter, trading view, punctuation, eh ..... I mean EXCESSIVE PUNCTUATION ! ! ! Even an IMDB URL , I am so drawn to this profile ... Oh her header says she is AWESOME, so let's find out IF, she really is AWESOME. If you believe she is awesome, write it in the tweet:

Source

XRPTwin:

Could you introduce yourself in a couple sentences

Lisa:

Hi I'm Lisa N Edwards, Dreamer, Believer, Over achiever, and someone that never gives up.... Work wise, actor, screen writer, author and trading analyst

Doesn't this picture make you happy :–)

OKAY OKAY, I did run across Lisas age. I won't share but

OH MY LADY, I MEAN WOW ! ! !

XRPTwin:

I have read you like fast cars can you elaborate a little on that?

Lisa:

I worked with V8 Supercars while I owned my Modelling and Acting agency which allowed me to fuel my thirst for fast cars, I have owned 3 HSVs and am on the HSV (Holden Special Vehicle) wall of fame. While you don't get to drive them fast on normal roads, I have taken them onto racing tracks (Sandown, Winton and Bathurst in Australia) to get that adrenalin fix.

There is nothing like that feeling

Source

XRPTwin:

Continuing on question number 2, can you share a little about your V8 Supercars experience in Australia?

Lisa:

I should pre-empt your questions before answering. I worked with Tony DÁlberto through my agency helping to raise his profile (as that is what my management company did) and during that time travelled around with the V8Supercar circuit, it was an amazing 18months. So many cool memories and I got to know a lot of the drivers, and attend many of the events. It was actually like joining the circus, as they pack up move get to the next location and unpack, race, repeat.

Source Tony DÁlberto

XRPTwin:

While we are still at this topic, what is your favourite car?

Lisa:

This is a hard question as I have a few for different reasons. Australian – W427 fastest naturally legal street car. Sports cars, Ferrari (Type F149) California it is the ultimate Barbie car haha, or for speed and precision Porsche 911 GT3 RS – 383KW-520HP need I say more...

Well, decide for yourself, the Ferrari California:

Source

XRPTwin:

Well, let's talk a little more crypto, how did you get introduced?

Lisa:

My brother introduced me to cryptocurrency, very early at almost the beginning, I thought he was crazy at the time, and didn't do anything with it until maybe 2012-ish.

XRPTwin:

Hmmm, 2012, let's dive a little into that year:

Source

Too bad, 2012 does not show in this overview. But there is also a little bit of text accompanying the history:

Source

Well, that is definitely interesting ! ! !

XRPTwin:

This probably settled your love for Bitcoin .... hence taking a side step: project CoinRunners, you wrote in February that you were going to focus on this project. What is this project all about?

Lisa:

Cryptocurrency trading is addictive once you start, sometimes it is love/hate due to the volatility. Most of the time I Love it. I am super excited about CoinRunners, it is a cryptocurrency/toxic relationship film I have written and in the process of editing and small rewrites to get it ready to be made. Covid times has actually helped with this, as I have been able to stop and focus, and now am on version 36 of the script. It has come a long way, it is an epic story of a Crypto Business

CoinRunners and a romantic relationship between the business partners that follow the waves of Bitcoin. It also has a positive message about the strength we all have within to move forward into the future we want to create. It is Wolf of Wall Street, meets Molly's Game. So should be epic... well I am the writer so believe it will and have had such amazing help from some really big name Hollywood Producers in getting the script to where it is today. Excited to share more in the near future.

I am really looking forward to this and if Crypto prices go a little higher, Lisa promised me to go to a premiere somewhere in the world, when Covid-19 is done of course, and walk her on the red carpet ....

Source

I see the stars, I see the red carpet .... Lisa promising something eh ..... maybe that was made up .......

XRPTwin:

Besides Bitcoin, do you have different blockchain projects you are interested in .... ehm, maybe XRP? ? ?

Lisa:

As a trader, I am interested in anything that moves and makes money. I love researching new projects entering the market and taking an educated gamble on these. Recently DOT and many DeFi projects.

I feel XRP is not going anywhere and in the bull run coming up will do very well as it again is an easy in for a new investor entering the market.

XRPTwin:

You have been starring in a lot of commercials, can you share a funny story with us that happened in one of the shootings ?

Lisa:

I don't think anything weird or funny has happened while shooting. One of the Coles Tv commercials I did, was turned into a horror clip, which at the time was very weird and had to stop my daughter from seeing it as she starred in it with me. Something many won't know is that I am Kath from Kath & Kim's (Australian TV series) I was her nude double haha, so my bum is on tv.

XRPTwin:

But XRPTwin found something else ! ! !

Not sure if I caught the correct scene, but this is a picture from the IKEA scene:

Source

XRPTwin:

It looks like you are having fun with charting, many tweet regarding moving averages (MA); when did the love of charting start?

Lisa:

I have been charting for nearly 30years.. (since I was 2) hehe, but sharing on twitter I think for 2 or 3 years. I started sharing and helping people there as the BTC high was reached and many thought BTC would rise forever, so I can in to share and try to help others learn some of the tricks I already knew. It was a wild market back then, worse than now, the market has somewhat settled and grown-up in a way.

XRPTwin

Well there you have it, did not have to hide it, Lisa gave us her age herself: 32 ! ! !

XRPTwin:

What is 2020 to you .... has it slowed your projects or did it give you more time?

Lisa:

I am actually busier than ever, while it slowed the progress of my film, in a way it has been a blessing in disguise as I have taken the time to explore and develop the film script to where it is today. I did at the start think 2020 would be a vastly different year for me, and coming up to September I am starting to feel the cabin fever, as the previous 2 years were spent travelling all over the world for conferences and courses I was teaching.

Source

XRPTwin:

What does the remainder of 2020 hold, are we going to see a big BULL?

Lisa:

I think the bull market is here and about to explode, it is going to be bigger than 2017, and more brutal along the way as regulations slowly creep in the following year, this is the last stand of the wild west.

Source

XRPTwin

Ferdi the Bull, maybe a little bit TOO sweat, but it does stand for rise ! ! !

XRPTwin:

Who is (going to be) the big winner this year

Lisa:

DeFi is already the biggest winner, YFI as of writing this hit 38K and 3.5x BTC. If you are not a trader, I wholly recommend DCA – Dollar cost averaging your buys as you can afford or setting aside an amount each time you are paid. I feel this is the best way to win in this market for the inexperienced people entering.

XRPTwin:

Who is (going to be) the big loser

Lisa:

New traders that over leverage/margin on exchanges, they are going to feel the pain of this crazy volatility

XRPTwin:

What question should I not ask you?

Lisa:

That one haha. My kids could tell you, not to ever ask me what's for dinner Mum... it used to be my pet hate if I was in the middle of something.

Source

Wow, this was a lot of fun. Now tell me, is this lady awesome or NOT awesome.... I had soooo much fun interviewing her and I am so happy to start this weekend with Lisa. Time for another interview with a busy bee ! ! ! This lady is all over, but this time it is not Bitcoin and it is not XRP that are central in the interview. Yes, there are questions, but in the end it is all about ..... Litecoin ..... what's in a Blog Title ! ! !

Really thrilled about this interview as I have seen Lisas Friday show more than a couple times and it is more than interesting .... not only Crypto is spoken about. So who is Litecoin Lisa. According to Twitter I am not the only person who knows her:

Source

Well let's find out more about Litecoin Lisa ..... Let's start the interview:

XRPTwin:

Could you introduce yourself in a couple sentences?

Lisa:

Sure! My name is Lisa Davis, aka Litecoin Lisa. I’m a freedom loving Southern girl in the US that’s been Red Pilled and can never go back. I love God, my family, freedom and serving others. When I’m not busy being a wife and mom, I’m hustling weed, working with my marketing clients or interviewing some of my “CryptoFam” on my YouTube channel.

Source

We talk about freedom, voting, cryptos, payment solutions, parenting, foster care, adoption, organ donation, fighting cancer, NESARA/GESARA and a few other WUJU topics. We also have a great live Happy Hour show each week on Friday with my buddy Clint Westwood where we could talk about anything under the sun!

Source

XRPTwin:

How did you get into Crypto?

Lisa:

My mom , cryptonana4LTC, gave my husband and I some Litecoin for our wedding in 2017 and Red Pilled us in a huge way.

Source

XRPTwin:

Can you say something about US regulations, what will that do to the industry?

Lisa:

I think US regulations are inevitable, but they will help to bring stabilisation as the world adopts the government cryptos. My hopes are that it will lead people to learn about true decentralised coins so that they can have freedom from the corrupt baking elite.

Source

XRPTwin:

So Bitcoin, will it ever be a payment vehicle, will YOU actually ever use it for payments?

Lisa:

I see BTC being the settlement layer, but not the payment vehicle. LTC and DGB are much better solutions for payment.

Source

XRPTwin:

Tricky question: What are your thoughts on XRP? ;–)

Lisa:

I don’t hold any XRP. Although it may be used by the banks I’m trying to get away from that centralised and corrupt system.

I’m also very concerned with their connections with the morally corrupt and criminal Gates foundation as well as some others involved in the project.

Ultimately I believe in freedom for each of us to choose the coins/projects we want to be involved with so I don’t begrudge others for choosing XRP.

XRPTwin:

What is 2020 to you .... has it slowed you down or are you doing more things?

Lisa:

Yes to both. Some of my businesses have seen a significant decrease in activity as events are frowned upon due to COVID. On the other hand, between helping my son with online school, my YouTube channel and jumping through legal hoops for my weed business, I’ve been very busy.

XRPTwin:

Let's go back to the title of this interview: Litecoin ..... please share a little bit more about this Red Pill of yours ? ? ?

Lisa:

Litecoin is truly decentralised. It’s a true crypto currency. It’s run without fail for years and not vulnerable to 51% hack as well as being a current use for every day payments.

Transaction fees are low and as fees are starting to be transitioned to the customer, people will be looking for solutions like Litecoin more and more. Not to mention, the Litecoin debit card that is out where you can spend your Litecoin and, coming soon, they are able to offer FDIC insured accounts for card holders.

Also, with developments like Litebringer game increasing nodes and Mimble Wimble as an option for private transactions, there’s a bright future for Litecoin.

Source

XRPTwin:

The world has seen some Quantitative Easing in the 2019/ 2020. You think this will come to a halt when the next US president is elected and what will this do to Fiat / Crypto?

Lisa:

QE is part of the plan and being used against the elites to destroy the banks. The Petro dollar died in April. Trump brought the IRS & The Fed into the US Treasury and The Fed is buying all the bad debt. Bank debt will end with the elite banks.

Also, pedos, human traffickers and many other dark actors are being stopped right now and their assets are being frozen and seized to be returned to the people after years of theft through taxation and other crimes against humanity.

Governments around the world are issuing their own digital dollar, but are late to the game so there will always be decentralised currency for people to have freedom if they choose it.

Decentralised cryptos are the digital gold and silver for the people

Source

XRPTwin:

Crypto seems to be pretty male dominant. Love seeing more women in Crypto like Tina Bhatnagar – ex Vice president, Coinbase, Kathleen Breitman – Co-founder, Tezos, Galia Benartzi — Co-founder, Bancor, DAPS CEO Adele Meyer to name a view; besides you. Where should the interest come from to pull more women into this industry?

Lisa:

I think as the banks fail and governments go to the digital dollar you will see more and more women in this space. To be honest, I think that if the crypto community wants to attract more businesses and women, we will need to see CryptoTwitter mature.

Source

XRPTwin:

What does the remainder of 2020 hold, are we going to see a (big) BULL?

Lisa:

I think we will see the beginning of it, but I really think 2021 will be something we’ve never seen before as mass adoption kicks in!

Source

XRPTwin:

What question should I not ask you?

Lisa:

I’m pretty much an open book, so as long as it’s respectful, I’m up for any questions.

Source

Well, Interesting lady and an interesting view into Lisas Life. Thanks for being so open minded and showing us all the angles, different angles .... Another view of a lady that is busy in the crypto industry besides all the other industries she is busy in.

Good luck on all of your businesses and let's hope Litecoin, Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Vechain, XLM and other coins are going to rise in the coming weeks, months and / or years. Thank you ! ! !

STAY SAFE ! ! !

Another bright light in the Crypto Community today. A content creator that does many different things. I have noticed her a long time ago and I am really happy she said yes to an interview. Before going into questioning the lady, I do want to say I have a lot of respect for Wendy O talking about her daughter. She is a proud mother and I like reading about that.

I have mentioned on 1 or 2 occasions that I have a son and I totally agree with her. Blockchain might absorb a lot of time, it is always the child/ the children that comes in first. Me not being happy is better than my son not being happy ! ! ! Love reading her talking about her daughter this way ! ! !

So Wendy O, we have a professional lady here, followed by well over 60.000 people.

She has her own show , is on Twitter, TikTok, Telegram, too many places to mention.

Source

A lot of YouTube videos, so you better check it out and subscribe. This lady knows what she talks about.

Let's find out who Wendy is:

XRPTwin:

Hi, can you introduce yourself in a couple sentences ? ? ?

Wendy O:

My name is Wendy and I am a proud momma to an amazing toddler and create content in crypto as well as run a marketing and business development consultancy.

Source

XRPTwin:

Before you started your career in Blockchain, you were in the medical industry, working with infectious diseases; do your fingers not tingle now with Covid-19 or is that behind you ? ? ?

Source

Wendy O:

I’m just thankful I no longer work in healthcare, there is a lot of red tape present that impedes healthcare for patients. One day I would like to help implement blockchain to healthcare as I feel it will improve the quality of life for patients globally.

XRPTwin:

You are an influencer, how did it all start with Crypto ? ? ?

Wendy O:

Well, it has been a journey. I quit my job in healthcare in 2017 and bought my first cryptos end of 2017. I saw the need to host events to network. During 2017 there were so many paid meet-ups where folks would shill ICOs and I wanted to create a vibe for those who wanted to learn more about crypto and network. All 4 dozen plus events have been free and they will always be free.

Prior to the events I learned how to trade and began posting my content on twitter and my account started to grow. With doing the meet-ups, I started a YouTube channel to share the events with folks globally and I kept making content because I enjoyed it!

Source

XRPTwin:

2017 has been an important year for a lot of people. It is the year, maybe the last year you can be called an OG in Crypto. The year we saw a last Bull Run. After December 2017 many traders, investors and HODLrs have been tested numerous days/ weeks/ months well, actually years ! ! !

Good and bad being a starter in 2017 because we all knew how it went. December was amazing, but then WINTER started ! ! ! Dollar Cost Average Time started. The very well known “this month it is going to happen” turned into “Buying the Dip”.

XRPTwin:

You bring blockchain/ crypto to the larger crowd ... why, do you think have we not seen adoption yet ... ? ? ?

  1. Not enough Wendys in the world
  2. Regulations
  3. Blockchain ! ! ! That is scary stuff

  4. None of the above

Wendy O:

We will not see adoption this generation because current companies and other influencers have failed to understand general population and what they need. I come from the lower middle class, folks struggling to make ends meet, the only way they will get into crypto is when it improves their quality of life, we still have a lot of work to do.

XRPTwin:

Although this sounds scary and probably a lot of influencers are not agreeing, I agree ! ! ! The adoption Wendy is talking about may not happen, but the big question is, IS that the adoption investors are waiting for ? ? ? Are investors not waiting for the institutionals to come on board, invest their money into Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, XRP and the Vechains of this world. Is that the very well know “boat” the mass is going to miss? Who knows ! ! !

Source – Institutional Adoption

Source – Mass Adoption

XRPTwin:

Defi next great thing or trap; people making a lot of money or people are digging their own hole (collateralising there house for example) ? ? ?

Wendy O:

The real Defi applications will change the world as they allow for the unbanked to have access to low interest rate loans.

This current market showcases a lot of hype, that great but many fails to put the work in and trade/invest in these projects correctly

When you are investing/trading in a high-risk market you need to understand to:

  1. Do your own research and see if investing fits your currently risk.
  2. These new projects will not replace Bitcoin, so we need to top treating alt-coins this way, use them as a tool to accumulate fiat and crypto
  3. Learn basic budgeting and stop investing your mortgage money. That is not what investing means.
  4. Take personal responsibility for your actions, placing blame on others for your poor choices is the opposite of the ethos of Bitcoin. We are suppose to be in a free market and many don’t know what that means.

XRPTwin:

Very wise words, DeFi is still at the beginning and is still lacking a lot of regulations .... Let's see how this evolves ......

XRPTwin:

Yam, Sushi, Hotdog .... hmm seems food and (DeFi) Crypto don't really work together care to respond ? ? ?

Wendy O:

Food and crypto totally does, crypto has a meme culture and I think its amazing. However, if you invest in $FOOD coin and think it’s a good idea to hold it instead of taking profit .... well that is on them ....

Source

XRPTwin:

626 videos and counting ..... can you say something about it... highlighting a couple that were the most fun to create ? ? ?

Source

Wendy O:

My favourite videos are the law and legal ones, they never get a lot of traction, but crypto attorneys and lawmakers are the real experts in the space and should looked to for guidance.

XRPTwin:

You believe you have a responsibility being a crypto influencer ? ?

Wendy O:

I do to a certain extent, I’m very honest on all my platforms my audience knows me and my intent, others that don’t know me like to make assumptions and I kind of think that ridiculous. I’m a human just like everyone else and equal to everyone. Follower count is meaningless.

Source

XRPTwin:

This week I interview many ladies that are crypto influencers. Why is it, that there are still more men in this business, there are so many SMART women ? ? ?

Wendy O:

Because most women are not into tech, it's not part of our genetic makeup. Being diverse is great but you cant force anyone to work in a field or participate when they aren’t excited by it.

Source

XRPTwin:

Coolest thing that happened this year for Wendy O ? ? ?

Wendy O:

The coolest thing that happened to me is that I get to work full-time from home and be with my daughter. Lastly, I decided that I missed being of service to an underserved community, so I decided to volunteer for a local domestic violence shelter and make a difference. That’s what life is about

Source

XRPTwin:

Look at the joy of that picture ! ! ! I absolutely feel the love for a child in this pic ! ! !

Love Wendy O her answer, not only advising in Crypto, but also about family, and the underserved community, respect ! ! !

XRPTwin:

What would you like to tell to the new people coming into the crypto spheres this year ? ? ?

Wendy O:

If you are new, old or whatever. Take profit and do not become a bag holder. Your quality of life will improve immensely ! ! !

Source

XRPTwin:

What question should I NOT ask you?

Wendy O:

You can ask me anything, I’m pretty much an open book when it comes to me, just nothing personal about my daughter, my number one goal is to keep her safe ? ? ?

XRPTwin:

When will we see regulations ? ? ?

Wendy O:

We will see regulations over time, if you want crypto to be regulated put the work in via local governments and make change occur!

Source

XRPTwin:

What do you think about XRP ? ? ?

Wendy O:

I like to trade XRP to obtain more fiat and Bitcoin – it’s a tool for me

Source

XRPTwin:

This year will be a success if ..... (please fill in the blank) ? ? ?

Wendy O:

There are no “ifs”, I am successful and have improved my quality of life with hard work and honesty

So, everybody recognises CryptoFinally of course, but who are all those other people ..... WELL, Charles Hoskinson, Vitalik Buterin, Tone Vays and of course Girl Gone Crypto LEA ! ! !

So this girl gets around and has the connections, or I should say, Charles, Vitalik and Tone have the connections, they are able to meet this influencer ! ! !

Besides all these meetings, she also had many press features; just a little picture:

Let's meet this young lady; who is she and what drives her in this Male Dominating Industry, that has a lot of Power Women ! ! !

XRPTwin:

Can you introduce yourself ? ? ?

CryptoFinally – Rachel:

Hello all! I’m @CryptoFinally , otherwise known as Rachel, I entered the crypto space in 2018 with goals of making accessible content on Bitcoin and expanding the space beyond its current demographic through examining portrayals. Basically, I try to make Bitcoin fun.

XRPTwin:

and tell me ...... she does make it fun ! ! ! I do have to share this video. I know a lot of people must have tried this one at home and it is hard, moving (cannot call it dance moves when I do it) and talking like a Bitcoin Pro at the same time ! ! ! You can ridicule it, but like I said; you probably will catch yourself, trying to copy what Rachel is doing in the video ! ! ! This is what I am talking about (later, it is actually returning, but this is my choice and later it is Rachels):

XRPTwin:

How did you get involved in Crypto ? ? ?

CryptoFinally – Rachel:

I have a background in mainstream production and was introduced to cryptocurrency through my friends in the industry, they had an educational blockchain channel and it was all in from there.

XRPTwin:

Why Bitcoin ? ? ?

CryptoFinally – Rachel:

Bitcoin is the original protocol.

XRPTwin:

Within 2 years you got yourself close to 50.000 followers on Twitter, I think you will get to the 50 before September, or at least before the end of September. What has been the secret sauce getting these followers ? ? ?

CryptoFinally – Rachel:

Funnily enough I delayed this interview long enough that I now have 54k followers! It’s true, I have been growing quickly! I believe that there is real opportunity for new people to come in to the space and make their voices heard. It also doesn’t hurt that I specialise in growth strategy and marketing.

XRPTwin:

Well, it is growing ——) 55K ! ! !

XRPTwin:

Can you tell me something about the Crypto Claw Message on Instagram ? ? ?

Source

A little more detail:

Source

CryptoFinally – Rachel:

Katy Perry’s Crypto Claws. I was not involved in the crypto space when this happened but I can only assume there was outrage over a far removed mainstream celebrity endorsing Bitcoin through vanity.

However, this kind of mainstream representation – though doing nothing to improve the tech or ecosystem, does in fact help our industry.

Representation matters in any industry, and what must not be underestimated is the power of relatability, especially when concerning common consumer audiences and adoption.

XRPTwin:

In this video actually, Rachel talks a little about Katy Perry:

XRPTwin:

Are you a Dollar Cost Averaging person ? ? ?

CryptoFinally – Rachel:

Yes! I absolutely Dollar Cost Average into Bitcoin and advocate for others to do so as well. Here are some fun numbers – if you had Dollar Cost Averaged in from all time highs in:

2017 you would still have a 68% profit. Furthermore, when Bitcoin hits 12k levels 98% of all Bitcoin buys are profitable. *98%.*

XRPTwin:

What about Bitcoin Weather Man, Girl Gone Crypto and the Friday shows ? ? ?

CryptoFinally – Rachel:

I do weekly live streams every Friday with both BTCWeatherMan & GirlGoneCrypto, our streams are typically casual conversations about the week in crypto as well as easy tutorials and thoughts about starting in Bitcoin for beginners.

In addition to this I also do several group streams with members of the community, getting different perspectives on the space and building out content newcomers can reference.

XRPTwin:

What has been your greatest video ? ? ?

CryptoFinally – Rachel:

I’m a little torn on quantifying greatness but of my favourites would definitely have to be my TikTok style content & Bitcoin music videos:

SOOOOO, here goes nothing:

Bitcoin TikTok Dance – @CryptoFinally TikTok:

Because I Bought High: Bitcoin Rap Remix:

This is How I Bought: How to Buy Bitcoin Rap:

XRPTwin:

What can we expect of you in the remainder of 2020 ? ? ?

CryptoFinally – Rachel:

In an effort to precede my reputation I like to limit expectations...

I said it

XRPTwin:

Anything you would like to share besides all the questions I fired at you ? ? ?

CryptoFinally – Rachel:

I’m more than excited to be on the ground floor of a new and emerging technology, there are only so many chances for an opportunity like Bitcoin and I genuinely believe everyone needs to get involved.

If you’d like to see more of my content you can find me @CryptoFinally on Twitter, YouTube & Instagram (Honestly more like 27 locations but these are the mainstays).

Thanks for taking the time out to speak with me and looking forward to more excitement in this industry!

Well, there you have it, a very active lady, with a lot of knowledge about Bitcoin and the Crypto Industry. If you are NOT following her, you may want to do that, because we have not even started talking about DeFi and NFTs; she knows something about those topics also ! ! !

Well, Thank you Rachel for having this interview with me. Enjoyed it a lot and let's see what the market is going to do the remainder of the year and forward. Thank you ! ! !

STAY SAFE ! ! !

So in the row of interviews with ladies in blockchain, following The Crypto Candy and Girl Gone Crypto,

It is time, I am presenting a new lady ! !

First, it was a Twitter Lady, secondly a “Twitter, YouTube and Crypto Guest Speaker” Lady, thirdly it is a Blockchain Lady in Business. I won't say too much about her as she needs to introduce herself.

Had some conversations with her and let me tell you, this is a smart lady. Has been around for a long time already, definitely knows a lot about the industry.

Francine Jansen, and for the Dutch People among us, yes she has Dutch roots:

This lady from down under, from my point of view, is busy, a lot of blue in her profile, so many things to check.

Well, why don't we just start with the source and ask it the lady herself:

XRPTwin:

Could you introduce yourself in a couple sentences ? ? ?

Francine Jansen:

My name is Francine Jansen. I’m currently the Chief Operating Officer of FortuneZ, the most followed Crypto, Blockchain, iGaming & eSports media across social media.

I’m also the Chief Strategy Officer for Crypto Chain University, one of the world’s oldest institution for compilation of Crypto and Blockchain research papers. I have been in this industry for the past 10 years.

Source

XRPTwin:

How did you get into Crypto ? ? ?

Francine Jansen:

I got interested in crypto 10 years ago mainly because there wasn’t much information out there with regards to Bitcoin, Satoshi etc.

Source

While doing my own research on the subject, I just got more and more interested and that hunger for information and knowledge was insatiable.

XRPTwin:

Can you say some things about FortuneZ.com ? ? ?

Source

Francine Jansen:

FortuneZ is a global business publication covering markets, cryptocurrency, and gaming news, and is dedicated to helping its readers and viewers succeed big in business through unrivalled access and best-in-class storytelling.

The domain name of FortuneZ.com established since 2000, is among the oldest domain names across the world-wide-web. The brand name – FortuneZ was inspired by the Lost City of Z, a name given by Col. Percy Harrison Fawcett, a British surveyor, to an indigenous city that in 1911, he believed had existed in the jungle of the Mato Grosso state of Brazil.

XRPTwin:

Herbert Sim as an advisor definitely brings some knowledge to the team, care to share some things about that business relationship ? ? ?

Francine Jansen:

Having Herbert Sim, commonly known as The Bitcoin Man, as an advisor definitely elevates the brand to a different level. We’re fortunate to get his insights and experience on a day-to-day basis.

Source

However, the business relationship goes all the way back to 2009. We have worked together of several projects now.

XRPTwin:

So Bitcoin, will it ever be a payment vehicle, will YOU actually ever use it for payments ? ? ?

Francine Jansen:

The answer to this question is yes and yes. It is already used across many industries as a mode of payment and I have used it many times now. The transactions are neat, fast and safe.

Source

XRPTwin:

Let's put Bitcoin to the side, do you own any other coins/ tokens / digital asset blockchain projects, can you share ? ? ?

Francine Jansen:

I can share but probably in private. My advice to many young entrepreneurs out there with crypto assets is to be private about what you own and how much you own ;)

Source

XRPTwin:

What are your thoughts on XRP; I read the August 28 SBI post ... Do you think this will have any impact for XRP ? ? ?

Francine Jansen:

I do not publicly share my thoughts on anything besides Bitcoin. Sure there’s potential but I’m not a huge fan of Ripple. So I reserve my comments.

Source

XRPtwin:

hmm, yeah, may be better not to comment haha

XRPTwin:

What is 2020 to you .... has it slowed you down or are you doing more things ? ? ?

Francine Jansen:

2020 has been a tough year so far, especially for the economy and how it has forced many traditional businesses to take their business online. But, looking at how the gig economy has grown, I would say we’re not totally annihilated by this pandemic.

As for us at FortuneZ, we’re lucky that our business is a non-traditional one. So we have grown a lot in the past few months and we’re expanding to scale even more.

Source

XRPTwin:

The world has seen some Quantitative Easing in the 2019/ 2020. You think this will come to a halt when the next US president is elected and what will this do to Fiat / Crypto ? ? ?

Francine Jansen:

Politics, not my most favourite topic but I acknowledge it does have an impact on the crypto market. However, the shift in markets are not always determined by the US. You have larger powerhouses such as China who’s able to steer the market, India now is picking up too.

So, what will happen when the next president gets elected, we’ll just have to wait and see WHO becomes the president.

Source

XRPTwin:

Crypto seems to be male dominant. Love seeing more women in Crypto like Tina Bhatnagar – ex Vice president, Coinbase, Kathleen Breitman – Co-founder, Tezos, Galia Benartzi — Co-founder, Bancor, DAPS CEO Adele Meyer to name a view. Where should the interest come from to pull more women into this industry ? ? ?

Francine Jansen:

You now find many strong and empowered women in crypto. Back then, 10 years ago, not many would want to sit down and have a conversation with me when it comes to the blockchain technology or crypto. Be it man, or woman. This was because it was such a foreign subject and many thought I was just pulling facts out of thin air.

10 years in now, everyone has heard of Bitcoin. More and more women are interested in the tech space and they’re equipping themselves with relevant knowledge.

It’s like with many other industries or area of technology, right. If there’s an interest, there will be an audience. So if a woman is interested, she’ll find a way to make her voice heard.

Source

XRPTwin:

What does the remainder of 2020 hold, are we going to see a (big) BULL ? ? ?

Francine Jansen:

3 more months and it will be year-end for 2020. So far the OG (Bitcoin) still looks like it’s holding on strong. I doubt it will move drastically anytime soon.

Source

XRPTwin:

What question should I not ask you ? ? ?

Francine Jansen:

You probably wouldn’t want to ask me trade secrets or anything related to my personal wealth, LoL.

Source

Well, thank you Francine for being so cooperative. As of the beginning, asking you if you would be interested in an interview, you were very positive. Really liked working with you, forming this blog. Really interesting lady, smart lady and FortuneZ has a great person in house. Thank you for all your answers and let's do another blog in a couple months, to see how blockchain is looking and how the women have been taking over :–)
