Shane made a really good point yesterday about using the terms “Digital Currency” or “Digital Asset” when talking about the tipping mechanism for gFam instead of “cryptocurrency”. We've reached out to a few people on traditional centralized platforms and occasionally people will ask us to prove that XRP can be trusted. We're always happy to have these conversations, and gFam has definitely introduced quite a few people to blockchain technology so far. Slowly but surely we'll change the world for the better!

On the gFam platform, we're trying to introduce blockchain technology to a brand new audience, as well as educate people that there are far less centralized social media alternatives... when people really listen, they're often astounded that a platform like gFam could exist... but often people think that the XRP tips are a scam.
We're happy that people are cautious, especially after Twitter's meltdown yesterday, but it also makes us realise that there is still a lot of education needed for blockchain technologies. The irony that XRP is far less of a scam than fiat currency is hard to convey to newbies.
We often list the Twitter, Coil or Instagram links of our global family creators Top Shot summaries, and we do hope that anyone who isn't sure about blockchain, cryptocurrencies or gFam reaches out to anyone featured for some reassurance.

Yesterday was about a lot of things... but mostly biking. Both Vince and Chazzer were all over it. We also saw dogs, tipsy girls, Blippi, questions of face, sunsets and visitors.

Yesterday was quite a bit quieter on ol gFam than previous days this week, but the stories that were submitted to the platform were delightful... indoor picnics, balloon parties, Disneyworld, Pubs, Sam's Club and scorpions. Something for everyone we're sure.
