Looking at strategy and tactics, assessing them, and then seeing how they should be changed to suit the changing business environment is a difficult exercise to do, to say the least. That's what I did today. I think that I did an OK job. In the past, I tried to determine all of the details that went along with each strategy/tactic, which would inevitably lead me to burning out very quickly, getting frustrated, and then quitting before I covered the entirety of what I intended to do. I did not do that today. Rather, I stuck to the big points and jotted down some short notes next to each one.

What I also did today was to remind myself of the fact that my initiatives will move slower, much slower, than I would like them to, so I have to adjust my expectations. So very small steps, bit by bit, day by day, but in the right direction, in a direction that will work on the biggest levers.
