Fresh starts
There's something so appealing about starting over. I love fresh starts. The opportunity to leave the past behind and create a break from what has gone before is refreshing.
Like a lot of people, I’ve moved away from the toxicity of Twitter and found myself on Mastodon. This opened a whole new online experience for me – I was, like many, completely ignorant in the ways of the Fediverse. But the civil tone and lovely people I’ve found on Mastodon got me thinking about expanding this presence, and so I find myself here.
I’m attached to the simplicity of this platform and the lack of voracious corporate involvement. This most definitely isn’t my day job, so there’s no need for sponsorship or anything approaching a professional presence. Just somewhere to share some thoughts from time to time.
Let’s see if it’s a fresh start or a dead end.
