CBR's OP Nonpowered Characters

Comments in this post are those of original content and was inspired by the video description. In the description of the video, CBR talks how powerful anime characters can be by describing them to be “astronomically overpowered” by the indication in power levels. To which that power is used for and feats associated with powers can thrown out of proportions. Feats are literally planet killers and reality distorting outcomes. Where powers come from are questioning to how creator envisioned the character and the story? The true sense of power is not just being superhuman but how abilities or talents are used in respected universes. Sometimes, the most powerful character in anime are characters of non-powered origins. These characters are limited in scope of powers but limitless raw potential to be equals of those to be considered superhuman. Check out the characters that were acknowledged on behalf by CBR YouTube channel. There even might be characters that are favorites of a particular Fanbase in a specific anime of character.
Suggested by CBR, “Soon, you’ll realize you don’t need to be born with it to be powerful.”

Reaction to Broken Powers

The world of anime is mysterious and leaves audiences left questioning sometimes. One mystery is how powerful characters actually are in reality and in their respected universes. Now, I am not going to discuss overpowered characters but instead some characters processing broken powers or abilities. A broken power is the uncanny ability of a character's power being so overwhelming that only a few characters can match the character in battle. The two characters that I stumbled upon in the Animo Anime group post by The Webb are Lord Aizen from Bleach and Shigeo Kageyama from Mob Pyscho. Lord Aizen's ability changes the course of the battle in his favor in a split second. People who face him haves no idea what happened and how to defeat. A character's ability that leaves opponents pondering and second guessing themselves is really a mystery to see first hand. Shigeo Kageyama power is literally in the title of Mob Pyscho meaning the power of the mind. Throughout fiction, the power of the mind is devastating and the power level depends on the emotions. A character's mindset is key when it comes powers especially psychic abilities. The true mystery is how somebody is able to control so much power with only their mind and emotions boosting power levels. These are two of the characters out of the four discussed in the post below. I explained the characters powers in vague terms to avoid spoilers of the anime. To read more, I instruct you to see the broken powers for yourself, but you are warned for the post contains spoilers of the characters and plots of the shows mentioned.

Mewtwo's Birthday

Happy belated birthday to Mewtwo. Mewtwo's birthday was yesterday on Feb. 6 2019. The age is unclear in the anime but the only source of the birthday is the diary entry in Pokemon Blue. It speaks of its origin and when it was cloned by Mew's DNA. In a strange way, you can say Mew gave birth to Mewtwo by humans splicing DNA. Let's hope Mewtwo a belated birthday and congrats the Pokemon fandom for an interesting background of a Pocket Monster.

Möbius Dust Anime Proposal

Project Anima reveals new competitions for anime seasons in 2020. One of the surprising winners of the Kids and Games Category was Hajime Shinagawa. Shinagawa wrote the story of Möbius Dust in which a disaster erects a moment of a rebellion against the disparity in Japan. According to Anime News Network, the story of Möbius Dust is “about police unit fighting terrorism after meteorites disrupt Japan”. The situation of a meteorite falling and disrupting the economy enough for the Bloody War Alliance to form is beyond imagination in any reality. Organizing the counter arrangements, the police have their hands full concerning future conflicts. Check out the other announced adaptations on the website and see any series that might interest you in the incoming 2020 anime season.

50 Years of Shōnen Jump

The game Jump Force is a recent addition of an anime themed fight game. Bandai Namco Entertainment developed the game and wanted to launch with various anime characters. The anime that are included in Jump Force are One Piece, Bleach, Hunter X Hunter, Dragon Ball, Yu-Gi-Oh, Naruto, JoJo's Bizarre Adventures and a few more worth mentioning. The Shōnen Jump universes are thrown into chaos when the Venom army invades. The Venoms include mind controlled villains from across the Shōnen Jump reality and are lead by Kane and Galena. The heroes from across the universes come together and defeat their former enemies to restore balance to chaotic mess of a reality. Fun fact, Light Yagami gets involved in The conflict because the merging of different realities makes his death note ineffective. Jump Force has 40 characters involved in the conflict with heroes and villains alike. Whose going to win the clash of a lifetime to restore not only peace but world changing events. See for yourself the complexness of the game and awaited anime fights. Check out the IGN explanation of the character backgrounds plus a sneak peak at various characters fighting in the awesome world of Jump Force.

Debut of New Boruto Credits

The new opener and ending for the Boruto Next Generations series is debuting in April. The opening is supposed to be the fifth opening and ending is supposed to be the fourteenth ending in the series. The debuting opening is “Golden Time” by Fujifabric and the debuting ending is “Ride or Die” by Skypeace. However, the last time there was an opening, there was Team 7 trying defeating a beast of unknown origins. The beast could be like Nue and be hard to defeat. The only thing that is concerning about the series is the anime and manga being close in nature. The creator states that both adaptations are parallel in storylines meaning some things happening in one would happen in the other at some point. What is being asked is whether or not the anime will continue to have filler plots? Who knows the new beast could debut in the manga as well. Having the new credits, could make the series more excited for what is to come or disappointed depending the overall reactions from the fanbase. Whatever the new arc is, I believe in the creator of Naruto and the passion for one series would go to the other series. – [ ] https://comicbook.com/anime/2019/03/05/boruto-naruto-new-opening-ending-themes-april-confirmed/ – [ ]

Funimation and Fanbase Scandal

Funimation wants the 30th anniversary of Dragonball to go out with a bang of a collectors box set of all episodes so far. The “Dragon Box”, which is the box set, would contain the remastered versions of the Japanese audio and possibly converted high definition video format on blu-ray. The announcement states that 2,500 emails are required to register on ordering the collection; however, this might not come to fruition involving Vic Mignogna and Funimation. According to Yellow Flash 2 on YouTube, the reaction of the Funimation's announcement was not taken very lightly. Under the comment section on Funimation's YouTube channel, there is approximately 500 users displeased either saying to reinstate Mignogna or wanting to boycott the promotion of The Dragon Box. The comment section gets out of control and makes the original announcement backfire from Funimation. I am not going to speculate on details but the situation involving Vic Mignogna is a bad omen for Funimation and its services. Whatever stance a person takes on the Mignogna accusations, there is the continuing protest to reinstate Vic. If Funimation does not relate to its fanbase about the issue, then there could be unforeseen problems concerning membership and revenue for the remaining year of 2019. If you want examples of the comments go to the website below or check the video at the cited source covered by Yellow Flash 2's YouTube channel.

Crunchyroll Anime Seasons Removed

The first seasons of Attack on Titan and My Hero Academica are exclusively found only on Funimation. These two shows are removed from Crunchyroll because the ending of the partnership of Funimation and Crunchyroll is finally affecting the 2019 season of two series. Also, other shows that are affected are Overlord first season and first two seasons of Certain Magical Index are only on Funimation and Hulu. However, I think the ending of these two Anime giants are only the beginning of the storm. With competition looming over the streaming industry, who knows which service will pull its shows next. This means that the race of exclusive content will keep happening until everyone has an equal piece of the pie.

One Piece Unexpected Ally

Oda has done some very interesting things with One Piece. The thing that surprises me the most is the lasted two manga chapter. An alliance that could change the entire Wano Arc and turn it up side down. Literally, a character who the Straw Hat Crew happen to stumble upon actually might be useful. However, this is soon found ally is rocky at best and can flip at any minute if given the time to recovery from unknown circumstances. I used tiny url to shorten the website due to major spoilers in the manga. Look at the website if you so desire but you have been warned.
