I'm going to keep this one short and sweet, mostly because it's not a particularly interesting subject, and more of an excuse in so many words.

I'm going to keep this one short and sweet, mostly because it's not a particularly interesting subject, and more of an excuse in so many words.
It’s a question I’ve heard over and over through the years, and I’ve recently run into it yet again. “Is using Linux really productive?”
This has been a frustrating week for me when it comes to digital assistants. I'm guessing that anybody reading this is already aware that I'm a huge fan of #Mycroft, but the market is currently dominated by Amazon and Google. This was not a good week in this regard.
More than sixty days ago, when Kev challenged everybody to write a blog post for one hundred days and decided to accept that challenge, I created a list of ideas for possible blog posts.

Day 59 of the #100DaysToOffload Series:
I fired up my virtual machine today and finally tried out UbuntuDDE. The short and sweet of it is that this is a pretty distro.
Day 58 of the #100DaysToOffload Series:
I’ve been working in computers in some form or another for a long time. I started by fixing other people’s stuff in the early 90s, and I’ve been doing it ever since. I never really considered all those years ago what this would mean for my personal time three decades later.

I wasn't paying attention to the iUniverse, and the WWDC kind of snuck up on me. I didn't get a chance to go through all of Apple's announcements, or any of them in great detail, but I wanted to do a quick look at iOS 14.
Day 55 of the #100DaysToOffload Series:
I think many of us use RSS feeds to quickly read the news of the day. I thought today would be a good time to go over some of my favorite technology based RSS feeds.
Day 54 of the #100DaysToOffload Series:
One thing I love about Linux is it lets me sit back and not worry and just get things done. That doesn't mean there aren't fun things about it. One app I rarely don't have on my Linux system for very long is eDEX-UI. It works on Windows too, but... why?
