Every Android release, I try to get in on the beta program. I’d love to use a more FOSS option, but my phone does double duty as my person phone and my phone for work, and work requires either Android or iOS. I’ll always choose Android in that scenario. I installed the new Android 11 beta a couple days ago.

A long time ago on a computer far far away, there was BeOS. Long story short, things didn't go well for Be Inc (makers of BeOS), and they went away. From the ashes of BeOS Haiku arose. A couple days ago, the second beta of Haiku was released, and I gave it a try.

Today was a pretty normal Wednesday for us here at the Stone house. At least the new normal for us. I was working from home, and my wife was taking a VoIP call from her boss. My kids were scattered through the house engaged in either game play or video watching. All in all, it was a pretty quiet and happy afternoon.
