Around forty-five days ago when Kev suggested the #100DaysToOffload, I was hesitant to get involved. I had a blog, and I'd written in the past. I'd even written and not received the virtual “boos” from aroun the Internet like I expected, but there was one thing that I was not sure of.
When the Brave browser was first released four years ago, I gave it a try. It was OK, but not something I'd use on a regular basis. I quickly went back to my old browser. Now, there are other reasons I don't use Brave.
Forty-one days ago, I started the #100DaysToOffload challenge. Kev made the challenge, and I had serious doubts I was going to complete it. I'm not one hundred percent confident now, and I'm forty-one days in. There has been one thing about it that I didn't expect.

I don't remember the exact wording, and I kind of wrote it off at the time. I think I was already writing something about #Mycroft, but it reminded me of a device I had a long time ago that I felt (at least then) was way ahead of it's time.
For the trifecta, I was going through the community forums on the #Mycroft site and I ran across something I'd somehow managed to miss for the better part of two years. MycroftOS.
Anybody who follows this blog know what I write about #Mycroft and #AI quite a bit. It’s something I have a lot of interest in, and I thought it might be a good idea to explain why as best I can.
Eighteen hours ago, Kris Gesling announced to the world the release of Mycroft Core version 20.2.4. This version has a couple interesting additions that we can go over quickly.
