rock

I have listened to so much Flyleaf lately (on Paramore radio) that I think I met my quota for 2018-forever. I don't like how poignant the voice of the lead vocals are. It is t terrible music, but I can only listen to so much of it.

  • They don't play enough Paramore on this station

When it isn't FL, it is some 90's music. I guess that is OK but, what do 90's bands have to do with Paramore?

And why does Hayley Williams follow Jesus? I can ask that about anyone who decides to follow fairy tales, but, Hayley seems so gd cool, it's like: “what's punk about Christianity?” SPOILER: nothing! Maybe she just doesn't like to think a lot or was brainwashed from a young age or thinks heaven is super dope?

I was (almost) brainwashed from 1st-4th grade when I went to a Catholic school and had to go to church three times a week (Mon+Fri+Sun). I didn't get brainwashed though bc I listened to a lot of heavy metal (and KSHE! #rock!) so I decided atheism and freedom was a lot better than bruising my knees on banisters or whateverthefuck we were always kneeling on, and reading a book about a guy getting killed.

Atheism has no book. No church. No story. No star. No nothing. Just a belief (for me anyway) in science and education and truth. I heard recently about a thing Christopher Hitchens (RIP) was into called “New Atheism” and I haven't looked I to it yet, but there is no guarantee that I will look I to it because it sounds like some sort of pseudo belief system where there is some lock-step set of principles.

I just want to be left alone.
