ok so if the dutch royal family costs every dutch citizen 20 euros a year, why not let the royalists pay for it! every citizen should have the option to opt out of a royal tax. the population seems fairly evenly divided between those that think having a #royal family is a good idea and those that don't. the cost to the royalists to keep the royal family that they like so much? a mere 40 euros a year! everyone wins, especially of course, as usual, the king and his cronies, but not at the expense of those who would rather not have to pay for them.
