This afternoon the Indiana University Women's Basketball Team will play their annual Pink Game. Their opponent will be the Purdue Boilermakers who will be traveling down to meet them on the floor of IU's Assembly Hall.
Today I plan to follow two different basketball games, listening to both broadcast live from local radio stations, and accessed with a simple AM radio NOT connected to the Internet.
My first game, a college game, will feature the UTSA Roadrunners hosting the North Texas Mean Green, start time scheduled for 1:00 PM Central Time.
My second game, from the NBA, has my San Antonio Spurs hosting the Dallas Mavericks. This game is scheduled to start at 5:00 PM Central Time.
And the adventure continues.

Pacers vs Bucks
My basketball game before bedtime tonight will again come from the NBA. It will be the Indiana Pacers vs the Milwaukee Bucks.
Making it easy on myself, reducing the stress of dealing with the buffering that comes with trying to listen to Internet streaming radio, tonight I'll listen to my basketball broadcast OTA (over the air) from a local radio station. My trusty old Bose Radio will bring me WOIA's call of tonight's San Antonio Spurs vs Dallas Mavericks NBA Game.
And the adventure continues.

After 47 full moves
As I've mentioned before, Correspondence Chess Games very rarely end in checkmate: here is one I won recently playing Black, checkmating the White King by squeezing him against a side of the board with a Queen and Rook.
Started: 17-Nov-25, Ended: 05-Jan-26, Time control: 2 days per move
Tonight the Indiana University Women's Basketball Team play the Wisconsin Badgers. I'll be listening to the game.
And the adventure continues.

Go Cardinals!
After yesterday's disappointment resulting from my trusting too much in TuneIn Sports Radio scheduling, I double checked today's schedule. According to TuneIn, and according to Ball State University, there WILL BE a men's basketball game tonight between the Ball State Cardinals and the Bowling Green Falcons with a scheduled start time of 6:00 PM Central Time. And I do intend to tune my radio to a local broadcast and listen in.
And the adventure continues.

Go Irish!
It was fun listening to Sports Radio 960 from South Bend this evening, but it became obvious they weren't going to be broadcasting a Notre Dame game tonight. Because that game against Louisville is scheduled for Wednesday night, NOT tonight. Darn TuneIn streaming service, they've really disappointed me!
And the adventure continues.

Go Hoosiers!
The ladies are providing us a “Sunday Matinee.” This afternoon's women's college basketball game will feature the Northwestern Wildcats arriving at Bloomington's Assembly Hall to play our Indiana University Hoosiers. I will have my radio tuned into B97 – The Home for IU Women's Basketball early enough to catch the Pregame Show followed by the call of the game.
And the adventure continues.

GO HOOSIERS!
This evening I'll tune the radio to a Bloomington, Indiana, station carrying IU sports for pregame coverage and the call of tonight's NCAA men's college basketball game between my IU Hoosiers and the UCLA Bruins.
